A Prayer For Our Nation

These are difficult times, we hope you will join us in praying for our nation!

A Prayer For Our Nation

What does Seeking God’s Face mean?  It means seeking His Presence.  One has only to look around our country to see that God’s Presence is desperately needed-Today!  Now!

And God has always kept His Promises.  Always!  And one of God’s Promises is that:

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”   2 Chronicles 7:14

Please join us in our heartfelt Prayer for our nation:

We pray for our nation Father, because we truly love all it has been and all it could be.

We know that we, as a nation, are not perfect, for only You are perfect.

But we also know that we have been incredibly Blessed by You, and will be forever grateful.

Please Bless us with Your Presence Father

And please Bless us all with the faith and courage we will need in order to preserve this great nation. A nation formed by You.  Thank You!

A nation is made up of all its people, and its faith in You and love for one another.

And so we ask You to draw each of us to You; to fill each one of us with the Holy Spirit.

Open our eyes Lord, so that we might see the truth-Your Truth.

And to save America-as only You can ?

We ask all of this in Jesus Name.  Amen.

We hope you will join us in this heartfelt prayer for our nation.  Please pray now!  Don’t wait.  Because our country desperately needs God’s Presence now.

Don’t Waste Time!

“So Teach Us To Number Our Days”-Psalm 90:12 KJV

There used to seem like there was sooo much time. Remember when we were kids. It seemed like we would never be 21. And now, the years seem to fly by.

Time has become so important, not only because there is less of it, but because our families and country so desperately need our help.

“Teach us to number our days” is just another way to saying, make sure every day counts! And whether we help in our commuities or states, whether it is taking the time to offer a kind word or to listen, or whether it is spending time with our Lord. God teaches us the importance of making each and every day count.

So let us stay focused on God, and let us make it it count 🙂

The Holy People & The Last Days!

And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.”-Daniel 12:7, KJV

So who are the “Holy People”?  They are us!  They are the End Time “Saints”!  They are those who kept their faith in Jesus Christ.  We are the Holy People, which is a great comfort ?

God has also given us another great comfort ?.  God knows that trouble will come to all of us.  He’s ready!  And He will help us!  And we will be “delivered” and spend eternity in Heaven ?

So don’t loose hope. Whether it’s the End Times or just a difficult time-God has you 🙂

Pray For America!

Passing it on … 🙂

“The invitation to pray for America IS for ALL people! Encourage others to participate in the need for personal repentance and prayer, to create and mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America’s leaders and its families. This country was birthed in prayer and in reverence for our Heavenly Father, the God of His Word, the Bible. It IS a Great significance for this nation, as it enables you to recall and to teach The Way in which our founding fathers sought the Wisdom of God, when faced with critical decisions – such as this time now. It Stands as a call for you to humbly come before God, seeking His Guidance for our leaders and His Grace upon His People. This New Day transcends differences, bringing together citizens for all backgrounds. We have lost many of our freedoms in America because we have been asleep. If you do not become involved and support now, through God’s Holy Spirit, you could end up forfeiting this freedom, too.

Of course, the evil one does not want God’s People to unite in prayer and action. You have already seen him at work through those whom do not fear God, which He will earnestly continue. He will also especially go after its new leaders, to tempt them with worldly power (i.e. even attempted to do this with Jesus Christ during His Ministry). With millions, which will increase to many more – all around the world, that support our newly elected leaders, they become the evil one’s focused targets (i.e. even perhaps creating the anti-Christ warned of, which many will be fooled). That IS why it IS SO important NOT to become comfortable in the upcoming success of creation of wealth and prosperity. To pray with a fervent heart for God’s Protection against the evil one’s darts, especially for our newly elected leaders and families that speak His Name with their heart!

My thoughts and prayers are that you do not sleep, during this time of spiritual battle! That you pray hard and long for our leaders that fear God and ask for His Intercession, His Mercy and Grace. That He cover His with His Blessings Full and His Protection. That you thank the Father, Son and Holy Spirit for ALL! In Jesus’ Name. Thy Will be done. Amen. Peace.

A Friend of God :)

“But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.”-Matthew 24:13 KJV

Isn’t this always true?  Of course, during the final days -times will indeed be more difficult.  But sometimes it almost seems easier to hold on to our faith when times are challenging.  We can see so clearly that we need God’s Help.

But when times are easy, it’s so much more difficult to stay focused on our faith and on our need for our Lord.  Sometimes, it’s simply that we are having so much fun we just drift away…  Sometimes, we just want to do things our own way.  And sometimes, we just don’t feel we have the Time.  And let’s face it, any friendship, especially one with our Lord, does take – Time.

If we think about our friendships on earth, they take time too.  Trust is not built in a day.  We can’t be truly friends with someone who does not know us, or someone we don’t know.  We need to spend time together, and that takes Time too.

Were you ever Blessed with a friend who almost finished your sentences?  It’s as if they knew you so well that they knew your thoughts and feelings before you did!  And they truly cared about you! That’s the kind of friend that God is-but it takes talking to and listening to Him.  It takes spending time together.

Take the Time to let God know you and take the Time to know Him.  It will be well worth it ?.

For there is nothing better than to be a Friend of God.

“Faith Without Works IS Dead” -The Last Days

“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will wax cold.”-Matthew 24:12 KJV

First of all, what exactly is iniquity?  Webster’s dictionary defines it as “gross injustice” or as a “wicked act (sin)”.  One thing we can all agree upon is that iniquity has grown.  And sadly, Matthew 24:12 is right, the love of many has grown cold.

To see that, one has only to turn on the news or go outside.

In Portland and Seattle they are killing people, beating them in a manner so cruel and wicked, it’s impossible to watch. The looting and rioting scares us all, and that makes many of us angry.

Then there’s the Homeless.  How many times do we see people walk or drive by them as if they don’t exist?  And yet, great is their suffering!  Who cares how they got there, they are hurting human beings! When did we become a nation that really doesn’t seem to care about their plight?

And then there is abortion.  The murder of a child.  Let’s put aside for a moment all of those who truly regret that choice, because our Lord forgives them!  And let’s focus on those who advocate for it.  Those who take advantage of so many women who are in desperate situations.  When did we as a nation stop caring not only about the babies, but the women involved?

And how often are people afraid to simply voice their own point of view?  And people are afraid right now.  They are afraid of being beaten or killed simply for voicing what they feel.  When did that happen?  When did we become a nation that allowed such evil?

And when did we become less kind?  Kindness and generosity used to be the American way.  And it can be again, but we have to choose it every single day!

And yet these are just a few examples, there are many more…

There can be no doubt that our natural love for one another in this country has grown cold.  As a nation, we simply don’t “love our neighbor” the way we used to, the way God commands us too!

But we can change that.  Today!  Now!

Because there are still millions of Americans who love our Lord and do truly care about each other!  But we need to ask God for the courage to act, for “Faith without works is dead”- James 2:14-26

God can and will help us to love more, just ask Him ?

A Cup of Coffee :)

A friend sent me this, it was so awesome, had to share 🙂

“A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life. Offering his guests coffee, the professor went into the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups – porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite – telling them to help themselves to the coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said, “If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups have been taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that IS the source of your problems and stress.”
The professor continued, “Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases it IS just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups….

.And then you begin eyeing each other’s cups. Now consider this: Life is the coffee; the jobs, money and position are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of life we live. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee. Savor the coffee, NOT the cups! The happiest people don’t have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything. Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.”

My thoughts and prayers are that you do NOT get burdened down with things of the world. That you seek first the Kingdom of God – surrender ALL to your Father in heaven. That your coffee IS Love and Peace, that only our Lord can give. That you thank the Father, Son and Holy Spirit for moments granted on earth – to be used wisely and to His Glory and Honor. In Jesus’ Name. Thy Will be done. Amen.”
