We Must Not Let Fear Rule Us!

Glenn Beck wrote a book called  Agenda 21 , available on Amazon

It’s a fictional book, but it does show what can happen when people allow their fears to rule them.  There are some things we just need to find the courage to keep doing, even if we are scared sometimes.

We need to keep sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and how to reach Heaven!

We do need to keep reaching out to one another! Smile at someone. Chat with a stranger, visit a neighbor…

We do need to keep loving one another, no matter how hard the government and media try to divide us!

We do need to keep hugging one another! Human touch is important!

We do need to keep putting family first!

And we do need to especially keep putting our children first!

And we do need to keep reading God’s Word, the Holy Bible, as it was written!  And sharing it!

God never meant us to be creatures of fear.  Rather He told us,

“For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” -Isaiah 41:13

This is a verse we all need to memorize and hold in our hearts.  God encourages us, let Him!

We Need Not Fear Tomorrow!

“If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.” – 1 Corinthians 3:17

There is no doubt that we live in frightening times, especially for those that follow Christ and believe in the Bible’s Truth!

But God’s Got Us and He loves us; and because He does-we need not fear 🙂

Don’t Go To See The Movie: Joe Bell

Sin can be so insidious.   And sympathy for sin even more so.  We know that gay marriage is wrong from the Bible.  And we know that the gay life style is not what God planned for us, because the Bible tells us so.  And yet…

There is a movie coming out today starring Mark Wahlburg.  It’s allegedly about a Father whose son committed suicide because he was bullied due to his gay lifestyle. Mark plays the father and dies while on a cross country walk to honor his son. To say it tugs on the heart strings, is to say the least.

But isn’t that what the media, Hollywood and the government are trying to do?  Tugging on our heart strings or bullying Christians into leaving God’s Guidance and the Holy Bible behind in favor of a sinful life style?  Maybe we need to ask ourselves why that is?

Bullying anyone for any reason is, of course, wrong.  It’s unkind.  It’s unloving.  And it is not what God tells us to do.  If fact, God specifically tells us to be “gentle”.  And it is definitely not how Jesus treated sinners…

But so, according to the Bible, is it wrong to choose to live a gay life style.  Watching the movie trailer, it’s easy to feel badly for the young boy and his family.  Clearly, they are suffering.  And those that bully this young boy are wrong.  This is not love or honesty in action.  But the movie clearly supports choosing the gay life style as “right”, and it’s not.  So if love is honest, where was the real love?

Ever hear the saying, “love the sinner, but not the sin”.  That saying applies.  God loves all people and so should we, but part of loving people is telling them the truth.

If we truly love one another, we need to be honest with each other.  Just as God is honest with us ?

There Is Some Good News :)

In God We Trust

If you use the above link, it will take you to a story about Chesapeake, Virginia. God will not forget their efforts.

“But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.”-Matthew 6:20

I am sure there are a number of Christians in Chesapeake, Virginia who, with God’s Help, are doing just that 🙂

Freedom Lost!

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”-Proverbs 9:10

“A judge in Virginia has given his opinion that a state law that has forced churches to censor their beliefs on marriage, sexuality and gender from their own websites under the threat of huge fines is not inflicting any damage on those institutions.”-WND

“…Virginia became the first Southern state to pass sweeping LGBT rights legislation that bans discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodations. The Virginia Values Act (SB 868) compels churches, religious schools and Christian ministries to hire employees who do not share their stated beliefs on marriage, sexuality and gender identity, according to a statement by ADF. A companion law (HB 1429) requires the ministries and others like them to include coverage in employee health care plans for sex reassignment and “gender affirming” surgeries that run contrary to their beliefs. It also prohibits the ministries from offering sex-specific classes for parenting, Christian discipleship and sports.”-Decision Magazine, October 2020

“An attorney representing several Virginia churches and allied ministries says they’ll appeal a Friday ruling that blunts their challenge to the Virginia Values Act. Attorney Denise Harle told The Washington Times that the case is “all about government hostility towards people of faith.”-Washington Times

What happened to Separation of Church & State?

What happened to the “Fear of God”?

The first part of the above verse says, “Fear is the beginning of wisdom”. Clearly, there are people in our country who do not fear God even though God created this entire world! Now, clearly it takes a lot of power to create our whole world! And yet, there are some people here on earth who clearly think they can do whatever they want, attack anyone they want. How foolish! (Not wise).

The second part, “knowledge of the Holy is understanding” is critically important too. Read the Bible. And read it again. Don’t let anyone tell you what it means other than God Himself. Ask the Holy Spirit to read it with you, to show you the meaning of each verse. And if you don’t have one, order it today. If this country can force a church to change; it can order publishers to rewrite the Bible and present a more “convenient” message. Christianbook.com has many inexpensive Bibles.

Above are a number of links to a variety of articles on the recent law and case. The minute the “state” starts dictating to churches the rules they must follow – is the minute we lost our freedom!

Watch, Prepare and Pray! And do not fear 🙂

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”-Isaiah 41:10

Evil

“I won’t fear what evil brings, for you are with me”-Casting Crowns

Evil is a scarey thing. It never seems to tire. It just seems to keep coming at us, no matter how many times we have beat it back.

But fortunately for us, God never tires, even if we do. And God always has the courage and strength needed to triumph over evil.

There may be days when feel too exhausted to continue the “good fight”. Days when we feel discouraged or helpless.

On those days, we just need to ask Jesus to “take the reins” :). There is a song out by Lauren Daigle that basically asks God to hold on to us, even if we can’t. A prayer we should pray every day 🙂

” I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[a]; no one- can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”=John: 28-30

As long as we belong to Jesus, No evil will ever “snatch” us out of God’s Hand. God’s got us 🙂

The Holy Spirit In Us :)

“Do you not know that you[c] are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?”-1 Corinthians 3:16

What a comforting verse! To know that God’s Spirit is in us!

The coming years will be difficult ones for those who follow Christ. And for those who don’t. Whether it is fear, fatigue, or what seems like failure, the next few years will be hard.

And that is why we need to remember that God will provide us with what we need. He is our Father and He loves us.

And Jesus has not left us! He is with us always and He loves us!

And the Holy Spirit is in us! Our Father sent Him to us when we accepted Jesus as our Savior to be our Comforter and Helper. If we call upon Him; He will Help us!

In the coming years, we will face difficulties, believers and non-believers alike. But there is a real difference. As Believers, we can take all of our troubles and worries to our Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. God will help us!

Jesus is waiting for you, He loves you and He wants to Save you if you will let Him…

The Future Of America!

Will we have another free and fair election? Millions question whether we had a free and fair election last time, so it’s hard to believe we will have one next time.

But there is also something else to think about. The President is not acting like a man whose party will face another election. Think of the steps he has taken or is allegedly thinking about taking. It’s been written that his administration is policing FB. It’s been written that he wants people to come to our homes to “educate” us on the vaccine and see whether or not we have been vaccinated. However, there is a database with this information already, so why? Wouldn’t vaccine education be best done by health professionals?

It’s been written that his administration is allegedly thinking about finding a way to read our text messages and censor them. And in the opinion of many, his administration is without a doubt an anti-Christian one, pushing gay rights and transgenderism on our children and rewriting history as fast as they can.

Somehow, they do not sound like a group of people that are worried about how the American People may feel and vote?

Will we have a free and fair election or an illusion of one?

Prepare and Pray!

Has America Spit In God’s Face?

Spitting in God’s Face has consequences, just as sinful behavior does.

Consequences can be permanent; such as when someone chooses Hell instead of Heaven. Notice the words, when “someone chooses”. God doesn’t send anyone to Hell, because God loves us. And because God loves us, He gave us the freedom to choose-Heaven or Hell. It’s our choice, given to us by God Himself 🙂

And some consequences are temporary. Such as the consequences Miriam received when she spoke against Moses.

Miriam and Aaron Oppose Moses.  The anger of the Lord burned against them, and he left them. 1When the cloud lifted from above the tent, Miriam’s skin was leprous[a]—it became as white as snow. Aaron turned toward her and saw that she had a defiling skin disease, 11 and he said to Moses, “Please, my lord, I ask you not to hold against us the sin we have so foolishly committed. 12 Do not let her be like a stillborn infant coming from its mother’s womb with its flesh half eaten away. 13 So Moses cried out to the Lord, “Please, God, heal her!”

14 The Lord replied to Moses, “If her father had spit in her face, would she not have been in disgrace for seven days? Confine her outside the camp for seven days; after that she can be brought back.” 15 So Miriam was confined outside the camp for seven days, and the people did not move on till she was brought back.– Numbers 12:9-15

There can be no doubt that God has greatly Blessed America, but have we, as a Nation, spit in God’s Face?

Sadly, if we do not repent, America may one day face her own consequences…

Biblical & American History!

The Old Testament in the Bible teaches us so much. It has not been “replaced” by the New Testament; it’s simply been “continued”. They are both so important!

And when we think about it, the Old Testament is our “Christian History” book.

But what if the Old Testament was “cancelled” or “rewritten”? All of these important lessons would be forever lost!

The same is true of American History. In many places in our beloved country, our history is being “cancelled” or rewritten. But the True History still exists, it can’t be changed. But if we allow that history to be rewritten, it will be lost for future generations.

We need to pray now that our Biblical and American History will be saved!
