In these turbulent times, God WILL provide!

Do Not Worry-Matthew 6:25-34

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?   Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?   Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?”

“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;   and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not [c]arrayed like one of these.  Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?”

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.   But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.   Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

Jesus said that we need to first seek God– and God will give us all that we truly need 🙂

The Book Of Leviticus: What Does It Really Tell Us?

It tells us how much God loves us!

God gives instructions on which foods the Jewish people should eat, for God knows which foods will be good for them. God gives instructions on how to deal with illnesses, down to dry scalp and a scab! And God even tells them how to treat a bird that is sick.

And God even tells them how to avoid spreading germs, whether it is by cleaning a sick person’s bed or cleaning themselves after they touch a sick person. Remember, they didn’t have antibiotics back then like we do. The only way to truly treat and prevent illnesses was by using God’s guidelines.

Thanks to Jesus’s Coming, our salvation is SO much easier, not to mention so much more possible. For despite the best efforts of the Jewish people, they were just unable to follow all of God’s guidelines, or unwilling. And so Jesus came to rescue us! He died and rose again and went to Heaven, just so we could! And in doing all of that, Jesus also created a Bridge between God and us so that we could have a relationship with God right now! Thanks to Jesus, our salvation is so much simpler now!

There really is NO excuse not to Accept Jesus as our Savior and Follow Him, for Jesus loves us so and did the suffering for us!

God has Loved us, Loves us now, and will always Love us.

Do Not Fear!

Be The Light Of Christ!

We live in incredibly dark times! And they will get even darker. And many of us are thinking, what should we do?

Pray. Be the Light of Christ. People will be scared. And they may suffer. But through Christ, we can ease their burdens.

A small kindness can do much. A warm smile can lighten a heart. We can share our hope, by sharing God’s Word. We can genuinely listen to others. We can ask them to share their story. For everyone has one! And we can truly love them as Jesus loves us 🙂

And we can persevere! We can keep walking with Jesus, no matter how difficult the times we live in become.

And we can remember that Jesus will always walk with us. Jesus will always answer our prayers. And Jesus will never, ever stop loving us.

And remember, God’s Mercies are new every day!

“It Is No Longer I That Live, But Christ Lives In Me”

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.  I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”-Galatians 2:20-21

This verse from the Bible changes everything. “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me”. When we think about it; what a powerful verse.

If we no longer live and Christ lives in us than that weighs on all of our choices. How we treat ourselves and how we treat others. How we treat our Father-God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit!

But perhaps an even better way to say it- is that it weighs on what kind of person we choose to be. When we live for ourselves; we choose what we think will make us happy. But when we think about the fact that Christ lives in us; we want to make choices that will make Christ happy. We choose to give of ourselves to Jesus and to others.

Remember Jesus Lives In Us 🙂

Doubts!

We all have them at one time or another! We can feel as if we are stuck in the dark, but we are not!

A progression of Christian Faith can include doubts, hoping, believing, knowing…And this progression can happen again and again in a person’s life. So if you happen to be in a “doubt” phase, please know that as long as we keep praying to Jesus-we will not stay there. Just keep Praying and asking Jesus for more faith 🙂

The Old Testament Is God’s Love Letter To The Jewish People

That God loves the Jewish People is beyond question. They are His Chosen people and He loves them! God always will…And if we love God; we should love all those that God loves!

The entire Old Testament shows us His great love for for the Jewish people. There is nothing that they do that God does not forgive. And to rescue them, Jesus came back! Just as Jesus came back for us all 🙂

But remember, Jesus came to Israel and He will return to Israel. Israel and the Jewish people will play a large role in the Last Days. Because God Loves them.

“I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.””-Genesis 12:3

We Are Citizens Of Heaven-Now!

The world seems a bit crazy and dangerous these days. Our own country included. Good thing for us that we are first and foremost citizens of Heaven; we always will be 🙂

Followers of Christ, we are already citizens of Heaven. Just because we are not there right now does not mean that we are not citizens of Heaven. A place is waiting for us and we get to follow Jesus to our real home: Heaven. We may be on this earth, but we are not of this earth.

And we will go to Heaven, because no power on this earth is capable of stopping us from returning home to Heaven.

The only thing that can stop us is if we choose to stop following Jesus. And we won’t! Because no power on this earth can stop us from Praying.

And remember, we can ask Jesus to give us more Faith, more Perseverance. We can ask Jesus to give us Hope, Love for Him and Love for others… There is nothing that we can not ask Jesus for. And Jesus will answer! And He will be happy that we asked!

No matter the hardship or hurt, we can simply turn and give it to Jesus and He will give us rest.

Our Blessed Mother Mary & The Feast Of The Visitation

The “Visitation” is the visit of Our Blessed Mother with Elizabeth. Mary was pregnant with Jesus and Elizabeth was pregnant with John the Baptist.

In response to Our Blessed Mother’s arrival, John the Baptist leapt in Elizabeth’s womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.

39 At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, 40 where she entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth. 41 When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! 43 But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. 45 Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!””-Luke 1:39-45

During their visit, they became great friends 🙂 They had much in common. Both had children who would give their lives for their love of God and God’s People. Both would love their children with everything they had. And both loved the Lord with their whole hearts and souls! They had much to share!

And they both needed the friendship of each other. God is so very good like that, in that He sees our needs and answers them 🙂

Our Hope Is In Christ!

“The world understands hope as wishful thinking. This is NOT what God’s Word means by Hope. The biblical definition of Hope is “confident expectation.”

“Hope IS the firm assurance regarding things that are unclear and unknown. Hope IS the fundamental component of the life of the righteous. Without Hope, life on earth loses its meaning and in death there is no hope. The righteous who Truly Trust and put their Hope in their Heavenly Father, Will be helped, and they will NOT be confounded, put to shame, or disappointed.”

“The righteous, who have this Trustful Hope in God, have Confidence in God’s Protection and help – free from fear and anxiety. The New Testament idea of Hope IS the recognition that IN Christ IS found the fulfillment of the Old Testament! Christian Hope IS rooted in faith in the Divine Salvation in Christ. Hope IS brought into being through the Presence of the Promised Holy Spirit. It IS the future Hope of the resurrection of the dead, God’s Promises given to Israel, the Redemption of the Body and of the whole creation, Eternal Glory, Eternal Life and the inheritance of the saints, the Return of Christ, Transformation into the Likeness of Christ, the Salvation of God and simply Christ Himself!!

My thoughts and prayers are that you have Hope in Christ! That you show Great Boldness in your faith! That you share His Hope with others! In Jesus’ Name. Thy Will be done. Amen. Peace.

The certainty of this blessed future IS guaranteed through the indwelling of the Spirit. Christ IN you, and the Resurrection of Christ. Hope IS produced by endurance through suffering and IS the inspiration behind endurance. Those who Hope in Christ will see Christ exalted in life and in death. Trustworthy Promises from God give you Hope, and you may boast in this Hope, and exhibit Great Boldness in your faith!! “

“Along with Faith and Love, Hope IS the enduring virtue of the Christian life, and Love springs from Hope. Hope produces Joy and Peace in believers, through the Power of the Holy Spirit!! “-Anonymous
