“Wait On The Lord” :)

We all struggle with wanting to run ahead of God. To fix things Now! But God always has a better plan than we do, that’s why we wait on Him. Because God knows not just our needs, but everyone’s.

So we need to wait and trust Him. For God will be faithful and He is always Good. And most of all, He loves us. We can trust that πŸ™‚

God’s Warning!

“For the nation and kingdom which will not serve you shall perish,
And those nations shall be utterly ruined.”-Isaiah 60:1

It’s only natural that we want to think to God’s Love and Mercy for us, rather than His Justice. After all, God’s Love and Mercy is Much more fun to think about! And what have we done to deserve love like this? How have we earned God’s Great Love? Nothing. God just loves us and He loved us first πŸ™‚

But God is also Just. He has to be. We need a Merciful and Just God. Because otherwise evil would run wild and hurt all of those who truly follow Christ. Evil must be stopped! Which is one of the reasons God must also be Just.

God has, on numerous occasions, given America a choice. Mercy or Justice. But unfortunately, our nation, time and again in this century, has chosen Justice.

And so now here we sit, awaiting God’s Justice, and God’s Justice will come.

We need to Pray for Mercy, while we can. We especially need to Pray to God for His Great Mercy for each other. We need to pray that God will be merciful to all believers that exist in this country and beyond. For no matter what occurs, God loves us and will hear our Prayers πŸ™‚

Difficult Days May Be Coming, But God Is Good & God Is Faithful :)

Play this song and be reminded of God’s Goodness πŸ™‚

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”- Romans 8:28

God has been so good to us! And God is always Faithful! We are so Blessed πŸ™‚

The coming days will bring more hard times, but God is always Faithful and will always use ALL things to our GOOD πŸ™‚

Do not fear; God is here πŸ™‚

What’s Coming?

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”=Mark 13:32

Only God knows when Jesus will return, not even Jesus does. That said, Jesus has left us a really important guide on what is to come.

Matthew 24, Luke 21 , 2 Timothy 3 all tell us of the days to come, as does Revelations.

These days Are coming. And although we don’t know the “exact day and hour”. we need to get ready for them-NOW.

So how do we prepare? We pray. We ask God to strengthen our faith, and we do our own part in strengthening our faith as well by reading the Bible and Praying. Also, we can Pray and Ask God to strengthen our faith. And God will be happy we did :).

We need to practice walking with Jesus everyday as closely as possible. Because walking with Jesus takes daily practice.

We need to practice praying to the Holy Spirit, remembering that He is in us! What a gift. But how many times do we forget this great gift? He came to be our Comforter and Friend. We need to reach out to Him every day! And we need to learn how to let Him reach us πŸ™‚

And we need to remember that “bad things” happen to “good people”. When we hurt, or see someone we love hurt, keeping our faith can become more challenging, but it is also when we need it the most. Ask God for help during these times and He will help you. For God is always Faithful!

And remember, Our hope and our help come from the Lord!

If we do all of these things, we will be ready! And we need to get ready NOW. God will take care of the rest πŸ™‚

Why We Love God?

There are so many reasons that we love God. But there are a few we all think of often: God Loved Us First πŸ™‚

Jesus suffered and died on the Cross and created a bridge for us to Cross back to a relationship with our Father. Jesus suffered and died on that Cross so that we could come Home to Heaven πŸ™‚

God’s Love for us is unconditional. God loves us no matter what!

Those are just three, but three important ones πŸ™‚

We need to take a moment and think about our own love for God. It’s important, for a time of choosing is coming and coming quickly.

God Loves Us :)

Sometimes God’s love seems so distant. But it’s not. It’s personal. He loves each of us in a way that is so unconditional and so complete, that it is hard for us to understand. Because let’s face it, we don’t really love like that.

For example, if our spouse cheats on us, we sometimes divorce them. If a friends betrays us, we often just cut them out of our life. And when someone disagrees with us often enough, we may stop spending time with us.

And then there are those who harm us. And those who protest FOR the very things we think are wrong.

But we could be any of those people, and God would still love us. Because His love is truly unconditional.

There is nothing we can do that will cause God to stop loving us. While we are alive, there is no sin that would stop Him from loving us. The closest we come to that on earth, is the love a mother or father has for their child. Because that love is so incredible.

What have I done to deserve love like this. I can not earn what you so freely give” – Love like this, Lauren Daigle

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8

“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” -John 4:9-10

It’s hard sometimes to realize or even to believe in God’s Love for us. We don’t deserve it. We didn’t earn it. But God gives it to us anyway πŸ™‚

Trusting God :)

Thank You!

God is always Faithful, even when we are not. That alone makes Him far more trustworthy than we are :).

But trusting God does not mean that we will never experience hard times. Jesus warned us that in this world “we would have troubles”. But it does mean that we will never, ever walk through these troubles alone.

We don’t even have to be the strongest, or even the bravest, because God’s Got Us πŸ™‚

One thing that is important though before we Trust anyone is knowing that they truly have our best interests at heart. And we know that God does, because He loves us so! And because He said so:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, β€œplans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”-Jeremiah 29:11

Difficult days lay ahead. Not only will we be safer if we Trust the Lord, but we can be at Peace and Fear NOT πŸ™‚

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;  In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall [a]direct your paths.”- Proverbs 3:5-6

β€œBlessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord.
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.” – Jeremiah 17:7-8

Trust, however, takes practice. We need to practice now! So that when the dark days come, we will be ready!

Be Of Good Courage :)

Thank You!

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” -Joshua 1:9

“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’” – Isaiah 41:10

“Children of God Be Who You Are!”-Come On, Brooke Poindexter

God has commanded us to be of “good courage”. And courage is definitely needed to pursue a Biblical Life in the times in which we live. My Dad, who now lives in Heaven, use to say that “Courage was the facing of fear; not the absence of it.”

I always thought that was a great way of putting it. Fear is a feeling that we can not always escape, but we can choose to act anyway :). And our decision to act is made easier in that we know God will Help us :).

God’s Got This, Take The Leap! πŸ™‚
