“For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

When Jesus returns, we won’t miss it. With all of those fake messiahs roaming around, it’s easy to fear we will miss the real Jesus, but we won’t. For one, the verse above makes it clear that we won’t miss it. For another, Jesus will never contradict God’s Word.

So do not fear, we will not be confused and we will not miss Jesus’ Return. God gave us His Word to ensure both 🙂

Revelation 12 starts with a beautiful picture of Mary, Our Blessed Mother 🙂

“Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.” – Revelation 12:1

And then Jesus is born ?

But the devil wants to “devour” Jesus, in other words kill Jesus.  And the devil tries to kill Jesus, remember Herod.  But the devil failed and Jesus lived and offered the Gift of Salvation to us all!

During the great war, Mary is tucked away safely by God and kept safe for the entire time.

And there is a great war in which the the devil is thrown down to earth. (which happened in the past).  But since the devil is always attacking those who serve Christ, the devil must be continually thrown down, so to speak.  And he is…

And then we read:

“Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” – Revelation 12:10-11

At the very end of Revelation 12, God’s Word talks of the devil’s persecution of those who truly serve Jesus and obey God.  And have we not seen that?  People killed and tortured for their faith in Christ.  Faithful people with horrific illnesses.  People of faith who have lost their faith in Jesus and embraced the dark…The list is endless.

There is only one answer here, ask Jesus for Help ?

In Revelation 11, we see the beginning and end of the two witnesses. They are given a great assignment (to prophesy for 1,260 days) and great power to defend themselves during these days.

They are given the power to shut Heaven, so there is no rain. They are given the power to turn the waters to blood and to send plagues on the earth as often as they will.

So for about three and a half years, the witnesses are assigned to prophesy. And when they are finished, they will be killed by the enemy.

For three and a half days, their bodies will like in the street:

“And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.” – Revelation 11:8

Sadly, their deaths will be widely celebrated. But after three and a half days:

^” And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.” – Revelation 11:11-12

After which, a great Earthquake will take place and kill many. The remnant will become fearful and give glory to God.

The next event of Revelation 11 is that the kingdoms of this world become Kingdoms of our Lord. And, of course, the nations will be angry, for as the nations of this earth become Kingdoms of our Lord, it is clear that those that Believed in Christ will be rewarded and those who did not will be punished.

The last event in Revelation 11 is that the Temple of God is opened in Heaven. It is a joyful time 🙂

There are a number of events that are important in Revelation 10. For one, Time Ends. In fact, Revelation 10:6 says, “there should be time no longer”. It’s hard to imagine a world with no time. We are so used to seeing people rush from place to place, and rushing ourselves. But if there is no time and there will be no rushing 🙂

Revelation 10:7: “But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”

Notice in the above verse, it says “the mystery of God should be finished”. How wonderful that will be 🙂 Notice also, it says “days”. It is a number of days, not one.

And lastly, John is told to share this news, but that it will be sweet and bitter. For in Revelation 10:11, it says

“And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.”

And the fifth Angel from God sounded and a star fell from Heaven to earth and the sun and the air were darkened. Out of the pit came Locusts. These locusts were given the power of scorpions. But is was commanded that they not hurt the grass or the trees or anything green, “but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.“

The scorpions were also told that they could not kill anyone, but only torment them for 5 months.

Revelation 9:6 goes on to say:

“And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it…”

But remember, the Locusts could not hurt the men who had the seal of God on their foreheads!

And then a third of the men were killed.

And yet, still, some did not repent…

Revelation 8 is a very serious Revelation. We know this because it starts with the Words:

“And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.”-Revelation 8:1

From this, we know the seriousness of what is too come. The Angels chosen by God did as they were told. There were voices, thunder and lightening and an earthquake.

There are four additional events that happen in Revelation 8. They were:

1. Hail and fire mingled with blood are cast upon the earth. A third of the trees were burnt up and all of the green grass.
2. A great burning mountain was cast into the sea and a third of the sea became blood. A third of the creatures in the sea died and a third of the ships were destroyed.
3. A great start named Wormwood fell from the heaven. It fell upon a third part of the rivers and upon the fountains of waters. It made the waters bitter and many died.
4. A third part of the sun received a firm blow, as well as a third of the moon and a third of the stars. And so it was, since a third of them were darkened, both the day and night also were darkened for a third.

Perhaps of even more concern is the way that Revelation 8 ends:

“And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!”-Revelation 8:13

In Chapter 7, it speaks of the four Angels that will be sent to hold “the four winds”. And a fifth Angel is sent, bearing the Seal of God, to tell them not to hurt the Earth, the Sea and the Trees until till the servants of God have been “sealed”.

“Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” – Revelations 7:3

Revelation 7 also goes on to describe the special place that those who “come out of the great tribulation” will have with God in Heaven.

Never forget, while The Great Tribulation is a time of great punishment, it is also a time of great reward!

While Praying the Rosary, I again saw the Red and Black Horses..

The Red Horse-Revelations, chapter 6, verse 4:

“Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.”

Russia, Ukraine, Taiwan, North and South Korea. How long before more countries are drawn in?

The Black Horse – Revelations, chapter 6, verses 5 & 6:

“When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. ⁶ And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”

For months, we have read articles about the rising food prices and the coming food shortage. It’s real and it’s coming!

Pray, Prepare and Be Ready!

These pastors knew how to preach. Sadly, there are too many today that want to make God “acceptable” to their attendants. They focus on raising money, rather than raising righteous souls!

The Book of Revelation is the “alarm bell” of the future. We need to heed it’s warnings, before it is too late!
