When something bad or difficult is about to happen, often God tries to warn us, because He loves us and wants us to avoid the difficult times if we can. God doesn’t want us to suffer.
In the story of Jeremiah in the Bible, it tells of such a story. There was a King, and a people who just refused to follow God.
