In a couple of days, it will be Christmas. It’s hard to imagine not being filled with Joy on Christmas Day. The day we celebrate Christ’s Birth, and our Salvation. From that day on, our path to Heaven and our Bridge to God was started. It’s hard to imagine anything more Joyful!
But it’s been a hard couple of years for all of us. As we look around our lives, Joy is not always the first thing we feel. But Jesus wants us to have Joy-Now.
So here are a few prayers to restore our Joy!
“Hear me, Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy. Guard my life, for I am faithful to you; save your servant who trusts in you. You are my God; 3 have mercy on me, Lord, for I call to you all day long. Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in you.” – Psalm 86:1-4
“Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” -Psalm 51:12
In a couple of days, we will celebrate the joy of Christ’s Birth, and the beginning of our real freedom. We need to allow ourselves to experience that Joy 🙂
