God Is Still The Same!

He is the LORD our God, Hisjudgments are in all the earth.
He remembers His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations” – Pslam 105:7-8

In a world that is ever changing, God has not changed and never will!  He is the same today as He was yesterday.

His Promises are still the Same and He Always Keeps His Promises.

Do Not Fear, for God is with us 🙂

It’s Not Too Late!

On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”-Mark 2:17

We are all sinners!  We are not Christians because we are so good, but because Jesus is so good ?.  And He loves us more than we could ever imagine!

We follow Christ, not only because we need a Savior to go Home to Heaven, but we also need Him in our daily lives.

It is amazing how much God helps us in our daily lives.  To give an example, I have chronic heart failure, lung problems, rheumatoid arthritis, back problems, Hashimoto’s Disease, Graves, TED and Cerebellum Atrophy (ataxia).  I am currently being tested to see if I have Multiple System Atrophy.  And yet, I am one of the happiest people you will ever meet ?.

That is God at work in my daily life.  It’s not that some of these illnesses aren’t difficult to live with; it’s that God makes them livable.  And whenever I feel too tired or too sick, it is God who “lifts me up and out, and gives me a break”.  I have never been unable to do what I need, nor have I ever missed out on anything I truly wanted to do.  That is also God at work in my daily life.

So for those who think Jesus is just about whether we go to Heaven or not, while Heaven is wonderful-Daily Life can be so much happier and easier with our Lord.  He loves us all and came for all of us. He will meet us where we are! So don’t wait! Call on Jesus now 🙂

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:7

St. Michael The Archangel

“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.” – Daniel 12:1

Pray Like You Breathe :)

 Come near to God and he will come near to you. “ – James 4:8

Sometimes we just don’t feel like praying and that is when we need to pray the most!  We might feel tired or perhaps discouraged.  We could be at peace, but at what cost?  Or we could be at war, where the cost is clear?  Perhaps our hearts have grown cold or perhaps our faith has faded?

But no matter what the reason, pray anyway!  Pray always!  Because prayer brings us closer to God.  And no matter how far away we might feel, God hears us!

There are times when I feel too tired to pray.  It’s not that I don’t want to; I just fall asleep.  But when I awaken, I ask God to provide me the time for prayer, and He does.

Prayer connects me to God in a way I can not explain, but I know it works for everyone ?

Faith is not about how we feel on any given day; it’s about who we follow every day!

We Will Go Home To Heaven :)

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.  For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” – Isaiah 60:1-2

For some, it seems that the suffering never ends.  But it will!  And whether the suffering comes from poverty or war, poor health or the loss of a loved one, or something else, it will end!  We will go Home and there will be no suffering of any kind ?

For those of us who put our Faith in Jesus, we have the privilege of praying to, and knowing Him right now.  And Jesus will bring us Home to Heaven one day.

Jesus loves us with a love that is so all encompassing and faithful, that we can not even begin to comprehend it. But we can Rely on it! And we can Rest in it 🙂

Suffering will not be our future.  Joy and Peace will ?

So do not fear, God’s got us ?

Our Help Comes From The Lord!

“Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.” -Psalm 83:1-3

Pray, God will answer!

What Could God Do With Us If We Were Willing?

“So I don’t have to be the strongest
‘Cause you are perfect in my weakness
If You can move a mountain with faith like a grain of mustard seed
I wonder what You could do with me

Open my eyes
Show me who I could be, Lord
Help me see
That I, I don’t have to be the strongest

‘Cause You are perfect in my weakness
Lord, if You can move a mountain
with faith like a grain of mustard seed
I wonder what You could do with me” – What You Could Do With Me, Josh Wright

All that God requires is for us to be willing and accept the Gift of His Son Jesus Christ.  And we can all do that ?.  God will supply the rest ?

We Can Trust God!

The world may have changed, but God has not.  He’s Got Us ?

Psalm 105

1 Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
    make known among the nations what he has done.
Sing to him, sing praise to him;
    tell of all his wonderful acts.
Glory in his holy name;
    let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
Look to the Lord and his strength;
    seek his face always.

Remember the wonders he has done,
    his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,
you his servants, the descendants of Abraham,
    his chosen ones, the children of Jacob.
He is the Lord our God;
    his judgments are in all the earth.

He remembers his covenant forever,
 the promise he made, for a thousand generations,
the covenant he made with Abraham,
    the oath he swore to Isaac.
10 He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree,
    to Israel as an everlasting covenant:
11 “To you I will give the land of Canaan
    as the portion you will inherit.”

12 When they were but few in number,
    few indeed, and strangers in it,
13 they wandered from nation to nation,
    from one kingdom to another.
14 He allowed no one to oppress them;
    for their sake he rebuked kings:
15 “Do not touch my anointed ones;
    do my prophets no harm.”

16 He called down famine on the land
    and destroyed all their supplies of food;
17 and he sent a man before them—
    Joseph, sold as a slave.
18 They bruised his feet with shackles,
    his neck was put in irons,
19 till what he foretold came to pass,
    till the word of the Lord proved him true.
20 The king sent and released him,
    the ruler of peoples set him free.
21 He made him master of his household,
    ruler over all he possessed,
22 to instruct his princes as he pleased
    and teach his elders wisdom.

23 Then Israel entered Egypt;
    Jacob resided as a foreigner in the land of Ham.
24 The Lord made his people very fruitful;
    he made them too numerous for their foes,
25 whose hearts he turned to hate his people,
    to conspire against his servants.
26 He sent Moses his servant,
    and Aaron, whom he had chosen.
27 They performed his signs among them,
    his wonders in the land of Ham.
28 He sent darkness and made the land dark—
    for had they not rebelled against his words?
29 He turned their waters into blood,
    causing their fish to die.
30 Their land teemed with frogs,
    which went up into the bedrooms of their rulers.
31 He spoke, and there came swarms of flies,
    and gnats throughout their country.
32 He turned their rain into hail,
    with lightning throughout their land;
33 he struck down their vines and fig trees
    and shattered the trees of their country.
34 He spoke, and the locusts came,

    grasshoppers without number;
35 they ate up every green thing in their land,
    ate up the produce of their soil.
36 Then he struck down all the firstborn in their land,
    the firstfruits of all their manhood.
37 He brought out Israel, laden with silver and gold,
    and from among their tribes no one faltered.
38 Egypt was glad when they left,
    because dread of Israel had fallen on them.

39 He spread out a cloud as a covering,
    and a fire to give light at night.
40 They asked, and he brought them quail;
    he fed them well with the bread of heaven.
41 He opened the rock, and water gushed out;
    it flowed like a river in the desert.

42 For he remembered his holy promise
    given to his servant Abraham.
43 He brought out his people with rejoicing,
    his chosen ones with shouts of joy;
44 he gave them the lands of the nations,
    and they fell heir to what others had toiled for—
45 that they might keep his precepts
    and observe his laws.

Praise the Lord.

“It is time for you, Lord, to work for they have made void your law”-Psalm 119:126

The darker it is; the brighter light shows.  And that is how it will be in the coming years.  Although it may grow dark, God’s Light will be seen throughout the world and will be even brighter.  The people who follow Jesus will serve as beacons lighting the way home so others can find Jesus and the way home.  And some of them will become lights themselves.

But remember what Mary shared with us:

But when evil finally seems to triumph over all, when all seems lost, Complete Restoration of the Church will begin and the Church will finally reawaken”.

Watch Prepare & Pray ?

“To Whom Much Is Given; Much Is Required”!

“His foundation is in the holy mountains.  The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.  Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.’ – Psalm 87:1-3

When this was written, the writer was referring to Israel.  But many also believe that America was also Blessed by God.  People from all over the world want to come here.  And while the issue of securing our borders-remains an issue.  No one disputes that is a great compliment that so many would like to live in America!

But, because we have been so Blessed, much is required of us as a nation.

“For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.” – Luke 12:48

There is much going on in our world today, and much of it is bad.  But clearly as the above verse indicates, we don’t get to just sit on the sidelines.

While it’s understandable that we do not want to get involved in anything outside our own country, God’s children live throughout the world, and so we must bring Christ’s Love and Mercy and go there too ?.
