We Fight Our Battles On Our Knees!

There was an attempt to assassinate President Donald Trump this week. He yelled the word “Fight”, but it was clear he meant that we should fight for our country. And President Donald Trump fights his battles on his knees. He should have been dead, but he is not. Pray for him and pray for our country. Pray for each other. Tough times are coming.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[a] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”-Matthew 5:43-48

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” – John 13:34-35

We are called by Jesus to love not just our brother, but our enemies. It can be difficult to do this at times, and Jesus does know that. But it is also what sets us apart from all other people. Christians love God and each other-no matter what. And we love our enemies. Pray for them.

The judgements have begun, but those judgements belong to God, not us.

Follow Jesus & Keep Praying, Because Prayer Changes Things.
