It’s November 1, 2024, and the results of the most important election America has ever faced will soon be known.
What are True Christians to do?
And while there appears to be much anger and fear in the air, regardless of the outcome, whether it is Trump or Harris, our mission as Christians remains the same.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”-Mark 12:30-31
Notice it does not say above, “love your neighbor as yourself“, as long as they are “good”. Jesus came for the sinners, because we are all sinners. Fortunately for us, Jesus loves us all. We need to do the same, now and in the future. No matter the election outcome.
So what does that mean exactly? Don’t we feed those we love and tend to their wounds? Don’t we reach out to them and hug them? Don’t we listen to their cries of pain and confusion?
And don’t we tell them the Truth.
Hell is a very real place with very real suffering, that lasts for all eternity. Don’t we tell those we love the “Truth” and Pray for them to accept Jesus as their Savior so that they can avoid this horrific suffering?
If we truly love our neighbor, we do all of this and more. And because we love God; we also love God’s People.
And God loves every single person, so need to do the same 🙂
