Reading the Bible can be difficult, but it doesn’t have to be. Nor does it have to be difficult to interpret. Understanding the Bible really is as simple as asking God’s Holy Spirit to read it with us. For when God’s Holy Spirit reads the Bible with us, it reads as easily as a beloved story.

Some say that doesn’t always work for them. Often that is simply because some readers of the Bible don’t give themselves completely to the Holy Spirit when they are reading the Bible, seeking instead to place their own interpretation on the verses of the Bible, instead of God’s.
