Trouble Is At The Gate

When praying the Rosary, I heard Jesus say “Trouble is at the Gate”

Psalm 27

27 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.

For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.

Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.

Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.

11 Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

Prepare, Pray & Be Ready!

God IS Kind :)

God Is Our Father & He Loves Us 🙂

Thinking back over the years; it’s easy to remember just how often God has been kind to me.  The times I was worried about my children and He brought them home to me.   The times when it snowed so bad, and yet our Lord brought my husband safely home. The times when people I loved were sick, and got better! The times our Lord did not even let me worry and sent encouragement my way!

We forget sometimes all the times God did not allow something bad to happen in our live and did not even allow us to worry about their possibility.

Or the times God helped us do something we just didn’t have the skill to do!

Or the times God helped us love someone who was truly unlovable ?

God IS Good, All The Time

“All the time God is Good” ?

Read The Bible!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”- Romans 1:16-17

Reading the news will not help us, but reading the Bible will! In fact, it is exactly what we will need to get through these difficult times.

God gave us His Word for a number of reasons. One of those reasons was that it would help us in our time of need.

Read God’s Word, with the Holy Spirit, Daily 🙂

Be “Marked Safe”

While Praying The Rosary, I heard God Say “Marked Safe”.

God has a history of “Marking” people “Safe”. Remember Exodus 12?

The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.”-Exodus 12:13

The “lamb” mentioned in Exodus 12, for us- is Jesus.

Read Exodus 12: Exodus 12.

Be “Marked Safe”.

Prepare, Pray and Be Ready…

The Black Horse: The Coming Food Crisis!

I saw a full crate of fruit and then an empty one.

“And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”-Revelation 6:6

It isn’t just higher prices for food that will come; it is also a lack of available food. But while there may be a shortage of food for the body, there will never be a shortage of food for the soul! 🙂

Being ready does not necessarily mean going shopping.  It means being as close to God as we possibly can be.  It means remembering that whatever we have been given, we are to be a good steward and follow God’s Will.  It means we need to Share with one another, for our Lord has commanded us to love God and love one another ?

Praying is the Best way to “Prepare”.  We can pray all day and all night.  There is no limit to the number of prayers we can pray, so pray now ?

Prepare, Pray and Be Ready…

The Black Horse: Prepare, Pray and Be Ready!

I saw a Black Horse.

“And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.”-Revelation 5-8

For many, this will be the Black Horse of poverty. Many of the rich will get richer and everyone else will get poorer. For many, there will be great famine and great struggle.

Prepare, Pray and Be Ready!

In God We Trust :)

While Praying I saw the American Eagle.

America has been Blessed beyond measure. And with those Blessings comes great responsibility. And if we do not fulfil those responsibilities, if we do not honor and include God who has Blessed us so greatly, we will loose those Blessings.

The Red Horse

I saw a Red Horse while praying.

“Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.” – Revelations 6:4

Who Chooses Hell? We do!

The most important thing to remember about Hell is that God does not choose Hell for us; we do! God loves us and because He loves us so He gave us the choice: Heaven or Hell.

As with making any important choice; it is important to truly understand the choices that are available! Hell is a horrific place, a place you wouldn’t wish for your worst enemy! And it is also an eternal one.  Meaning it lasts forever.  It’s hard to imagine anything lasting forever, but it does.  What is Hell like:

“Shame and everlasting contempt” – Daniel 12:2

“Everlasting punishment” – Matthew 25:46

“Weeping and gnashing of teeth” = Matthew 24:51

“Fire unquenchable” – Luke 3:17

“Indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish” – Romans 2:8-9

They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from[a] the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,” 2 Thessalonians 1:9

“Eternal fire…the blackness of darkness forever” – Jude 7:13

These verses were compiled by Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort

How horrific Hell is! We wouldn’t want anyone to go there!  But although God’s Mercy and Love are unconditional, Justice is also required. And so we must do all what we can to help each other make the right choice! And that means introducing people to Jesus.  That really is all we can do.  Whether they choose Christ will be up to them.
