We Will Need Courage!

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” -Deuteronomy 31:16

“So this I will remember when the battle comes to me. To fix my eyes on things above and not what I see.” – Goliath by Lucy Grimble and Mitch Wong

Courage is not the absence of fear; it is the facing of it. And courage comes from “walking with the Lord”. We are going to need that courage, so we best start walking ๐Ÿ™‚

If we walk with the Lord and ask Him for the courage we need, He will give it-always!

Living With Anxiety!

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” – Phillippeans 4:8

Anxiety is not a feeling to feel bad about. It’s something we all struggle with; and we all feel it at one time or another. We live in a difficult time and anxiety is a normal reaction to it.

However, sometimes anxiety is so severe, we need a doctor and medicine. And that’s okay; God made doctors and medicine for a reason. So do not be afraid to see one and ask for help!

But we also need to remind ourselves that God is in control and there is a limit to what will happen! And there are a few things we can do to ease our anxiety: Excercise. Pray. And stay in the moment!

Excercise is self-explanatory and it’s a proven fact that it does help with anxiety. And it can be all different kinds: walking, running, biking, swimming… In addition, there are many books as to why excercise helps on the market. It’s good for your mind and your health!

Pray. Pray like other people breathe! We can ask God to help us with our anxiety. If there is a special situation we are anxious about, God will either fix it or help us to deal with it :). If we are dealing with general anxiety, God can help with that too!

Stay in the Moment. A lot of our anxiety comes from worrying about the future, but we do have a choice as to what we think about! For if we are thinking about our worries all the time, than we will feel anxiety all the time!

God wants us to rest, but often we take the time God gives us for rest and turn it into a time for worrying. If we are going to sleep, we need to focus on how comfy our beds are and enjoy that! We need to dwell on memories of happy times and be grateful for them!

Nature is another great resting place. By focusing on the beauty that surrounds us, we are shifting our thoughts from our worries to the beauty of the world around us and how grateful we are for that beauty! ๐Ÿ™‚

We have a choice as to what we think about. We can either think about the things that worry us or we can think about the happy and beautiful things that God has given us. If we must think about our future, we can focus on Heaven. It’s our choice. Given to us by God Himself ๐Ÿ™‚

Be Ready!

“Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.” – Daniel 12:10

Let’s face it, no one really likes to suffer, but the very real difference is that we will understand it! And let’s not forget, it will be a sign that Jesus is coming ๐Ÿ™‚

The wicked will also suffer, but none shall understand why. We will. And that will make all the difference!

So watch, prepare and pray. For our time is coming and we need to be ready.

Who Prays For You?

Choose your close friends wisely ๐Ÿ™‚

We live in difficult and sometimes confusing times. We all face pressure. Pressure to provide. Pressure to protect those we love from covid. Pressure to deal with the political chaos that effects us all. But perhaps the most dangerous pressure we face , is the pressure to turn our backs on God. And it is this pressure that we must triumph over most of all.

There are many ways in which we can do this, not the least of which is asking our Lord to Help us ๐Ÿ™‚

But there are two things we can do as well. We can pray like other people breathe and we can choose our close friends wisely.

Asking a number of very wise people how they choose their close friends, the best answer was a question, “Who do you ask to pray for you?”. I had to think about that for a while. There is a small group of people that I go to when I am truly in need of help. And I ask them to pray for me ๐Ÿ™‚

Why them? Because I know them well and they know me. And I know they pray often and know God well. I trust them. And I know if I am making any mistakes, they will tell me. For we can have the very best of intentions and yet still make mistakes ๐Ÿ™‚

It is this same group I go to when I am unsure of a Bible verse’s meaning or a choice I must make, for I know they will lead me on a Godly path.

Another great answer I received was also a question, “Do they pull you down more than you pull them up? When choosing close friends, that is an important question.

It’s important to reach out to those who do not yet know Jesus, but it is also important to stay on the path ourselves!

So Pray like others breathe and choose your close friends wisely ๐Ÿ™‚

Maryโ€™s Warning About Russia โ€“ Part Two!

โ€œshe (Mary) warned that World War I would be followed by a far worse conflict unless people stopped “offending God.” She called for the “consecration of Russia to my immaculate heart”; otherwise, Russia would “spread her errors throughout the world.” -Inquirer.com

Mary was very clear in her warning in Fatima.  If the world continued to โ€œoffend Godโ€, we would suffer the consequences.  Clearly, the world has not stopped offending God.  The question is, โ€œwhy not?โ€

Sadly, some people have chosen become their own “gods”.ย  They think that they can choose whatever life style or actions they wish to and face no consequences for those choices.ย  But that is just not true. There is ONE GOD and it’s not any of us ๐Ÿ™‚

God created this world and us.ย  He sent His only Son Jesus to Save us.ย  He sent the Holy Spirit to Help us.ย  And Mary has Loved us with a Motherโ€™s love, she Prays for all of us and has Warned us, with love and kindness, hoping to turn us back to our Lord in time.

But our world has refused.

Will the Ukraine be part of those consequences?

What will it take to turn our nation, indeed our world, back to the Lord who created it?

Mary – Jesus’ Mother Warned Us About Russia!

โ€œshe (Mary, Jesus’ Mother) warned that World War I would be followed by a far worse conflict unless people stopped “offending God.” She called for the “consecration of Russia to my immaculate heart”; otherwise, Russia would “spread her errors throughout the world.” -Inquirer.com

The Consecration of Russia was one of the things that Mary asked of the children of Fatima. But in a number of writings , some say the Consecration of Russia was done, some say the Consecration of Russia was not done and some say that it was done too late!

Mary (Jesus’ Mother) said that if people did not stop “offending God”, WWl would be followed by a “far worse conflict”.  And we know that the world did not really listen, as they are not now, because not long after came WWII.

Mary (Jesusโ€™ Mother) also shared with us that if Russia were not Consecrated to her Immaculate Heart, โ€œRussia would โ€œspread her errors though out the worldโ€

And Russia has indeed continued to spread itsโ€™ โ€œerrors through out the worldโ€.

Will the Ukraine be one of them?

How Much Does It Really Matter Which Exact Day Jesus Returns?

โ€œFrom the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.โ€-Daniel 12:10

When are the end times coming?  How many days until Christ returns? How many hours are in God’s day? Does this โ€œsignโ€ mean Jesus is almost here?  When will we be raptured?

How many times have we all heard these questions asked or asked them ourselves? It almost sounds like when we were children on a car trip and we repeatedly asked our parents, “when will we be there?”

But how much does it really matter which exact day Jesus returns?  At least as far as what we should do each dayโ€ฆ

Jesus commanded us to do two thingsย Jesus replied:ย โ€œโ€˜Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.ย  This is the first and greatest commandment.ย  And the second is like it: โ€˜Love your neighbor as yourself.” – Matthew 22:37-39

A friend shared with me, โ€œLive as if Christ died yesterday, rose this morning and is coming back today.โ€

If each one of us lived like that, how much would it change our world?ย  How much would it change us?

Should We Live As Early Christians?

There has been much debate on โ€œwhenโ€ Daniel 12 occurs, so be assured โ€“ itโ€™s in the future.  Between Daniel and Revelations, itโ€™s clear that those days will not be easy ones, especially for those who follow Christ.  But there will be a few things we can do to make them a bit easier:

We will need to pray like we breathe!  All the time ?

We will need to truly Trust God ?

And we will need to remember just how powerful God is and that He Loves us.ย  After all, God created the world in which we live:ย  the sun, the moon and stars, the seas, the mountains and us. He can definitely take care of us! ?

We will need to actively work on focusing on God, all the time.

We will need to love God and love one another and not allow our hearts to grow cold no matter how harshly we are treated. ?.

And we will need to live as the early Christians did-supporting one another ?

So how did the early Christians live?  Together.  They helped one another.  They worked together to feed everyone.  They often combined their finances to care for each other.  Sometimes they lived in hiding, but they always reached out to others when Jesus led them too.  They were focused on one thing-Jesus.

It was a frightening time, but they did not hesitate to serve our Lord.ย  The cost for some was their life, but they gave it joyfully. ย It was a time when hate could have easily taken over, but they did not let it!ย  Instead, they continued to Love their Lord and their neighbor.ย  Early Christians took care of each other both spiritually and practically.

So why wait?  We can start today ?

Warnings Are A Kindness Born Out Of Love!

There are all kinds of warnings. There are the warnings we give as parents. “Don’t touch that, it’s hot.” “Don’t cross the street, without looking both ways for a car”. Don’t go out without a coat and mittens, you will be cold”. Because we love our children; we give them all kinds of warnings.

And that is what God does. He loves us so much! He wants us to be well, happy and safe. And so when He sees that we are headed for a fall; He warns us of the consequences of that fall-just as we warn our children.

But He is always with us and He always loves us. Just as we love our child, when they refuse to listen to us and hurt themselves! Our hearts hurt for our child when they hurt themselves, and we are there to comfort them. But no matter how much we love our children, they are sometimes going to hurt themselves and all we can do is comfort them and love them. As much as we love them, if they don’t listen, they are sometimes going to face the consequences for their actions.

The same if true of our Father. He warns us. One reason He gave us the Holy Bible is so that we would know the very best way to live. And He gave it to us so we could avoid facing the consequences of refusing to listen.

Sometimes we listen. Sometimes we don’t. And when we don’t, we may face the consequences. But God will always love us and be with us, always and forever. ๐Ÿ™‚
