Mary & The Rosary
There are many who wonder when and how the Rosary started.
โCatholics believe the Rosary is a remedy against severe trials, temptations and the hardships of life, and that the Rosary is one of the great weapons given to believers in their battle against every evil.[12] Pope Pius XI is quoted as saying, for example, “The Rosary is a powerful weapon to put the demons to flightโ-Wikipedia. There are said to be about 29, 300,000 Catholics in the world.
But many non-Catholics ask Mary to pray for them too. They understand just how much our Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit Love her and ask her to pray for them too!
There are about 2.1 Billion Christians in the World. Despite the efforts of many, Christianity remains the largest religion in the world!
According to Catholic “tradition”, Mary appeared to Dominic of Osma in 1214 and gave him the Rosary to Pray. He later founded the Dominican Order of Priests in 1215. A Spanish priest, he believed in living a very simple, some would say an impoverished life, but it was a life rich in faith ๐
For those who don’t know, a Rosary in it’s basic form is an Our Father, 10 Hail Mary’s and a Glory Be To God. Some versions add the Apostle’s Creed. Usually people say five decades a day. Some say 15. Some say 20. A decade is simply one Our Father, 10 Hail Marys and a Glory Be to God. ( the Joyful Mysteries, the Sorrowful Mysteries, and the Glorious Mysteries). Pope John Paul II added a Fourth Mystery in 2002: The Luminous Mysteries. Each mystery has five decades. Those who first prayed the Rosary did so with ropes tied in knots to keep track of their prayers.
The Rosary is A Place by Father Benedict is very helpful in saying the Rosary. It is available on CD, Amazon, Spotify… Also, for those who do not realize, the Our Father was taught by Jesus Himself in the Bible and much of the Hail Mary comes straight from the Bible as well.
For me, I find the Rosary to be a huge help to me. There are many times when I wish to keep praying, but I’ve run out of words. There are “relationship” prayers with Jesus and our Father and the Holy Spirit. But “rote” prayers are also very important. They give us a way to honor God and ask His Help when we run out of words of our own.
And for me, I want to be like Mary. As devoted to God as she is. As devoted to her Son, as she is. As filled with faith and the Holy Spirit as she is. So what better person to ask for help :).
So often I am doing the dishes or cooking or laundry, and I remember that Mary must have done all that too. She did not live in a vacuum. She made food, she cleaned, she washed clothes, she took care of her family. All tiring tasks sometimes, but she did them with so much love and with no complaint. And she still found time to Honor God with all that she was and did, and she Loved her Son with a Mother’s Love that we can only hope and pray to give our own children. And she does the same now ๐
Completely unself-centered, she Loved with a type of love that we aspire to give every day. But that does not mean it did not cost her. Her joy and pain are legendary. And without her, there would be no Jesus. We owe her a debt that can never be repaid, both for Jesus our Lord and also for her constant and abiding Love for us ๐
Whatever church we attend, Mary will always love us and help us, if we let her ๐
Pray The Rosary ๐
Our Father:
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom comes; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary:
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be:
Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.”

Should We Help Israel?
Yes. A resounding YES! All Christians should help Israel, because that is what God has called us to do!
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee:-Genesis12:3
It’s been reported by several sources that Biden has pulled the measly 120 troops we had in Israel. That is not the action of a true ally. A true ally SENDS help in times of need. But what has America actually done?
As much as we might wish too, we can’t change the government. But we can reach out ourselves. Send care packages to the IDF, send donations to Help. If you know someone in Israel, let them know you are praying for them. Don’t let them feel forgotten. We need to let them know that we are willing to help! And most of all-Pray!!!
God WILL hold each one of us accountable for what we chose to do. We need to choose wisely.
Matthew 24: The Warning!
Is this all not happening? We do not know the time and the hour, but we do know what to watch for…Follow The Narrow Path!
“Wars and Rumors of war”
“Famines and Pestilences”
“Many shall come in my name”
“Nation will shall rise against nation”
“Many shall be offended”
“And because iniquity (sin) shall abound, the love of many will wax cold”
The War: Only God knows when Jesus will Return. This may be a dress rehearsal or it may be war. But whichever it is, our mission is still the same: Prepare, Watch and Pray…
The encouragement: Nothing that is occuring in our world right now is taking God by surprise. Our Lord has all of it, and us, in His Hand ๐

Will Israel Stand Alone With God?
In the Bible, there is no mention of America in the End Times, but it is clear that Israel stands alone. One canโt help but wonder if Biden taking the White House was part of the plan. Because if Trump were still in office, he would be standing at Israelโs side with our military!
Notice, I said โpart of the planโ. I donโt personally think it was โGodโs Willโ that Biden win. But I do think it may end up causing America to stand on the sidelines.
God uses “all things to the good of those who love Him”. And what better good than is there than saving Israel Himself? ๐
America May Not Be With Israel In The End!
As we watch with horror at what is happening in Israel right now. And as we watch with even greater horror as our own government does not appear to support Israel, it’s easy to be dismayed.
But God has this in Hand (as always). There was always going to be war in the Middle East. Is this it? We don’t know. But we do know, that in the end God helps Israel win ๐
In Numbers 24:9, God says He “will Bless those who Bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel”. This is true. And it is for all time.
America may not be with Israel in the end, but God Will! ๐
Peter’s Message of Hope!
โThe Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations; and to reserve the unjust to the day of judgements to be punished.โ-2 Peter 2:9
There are some who may wonder why this is a message of Hope. It’s a message of Hope because we who follow Christ try not to fall into temptation, but some times we do. Peter is simply saying God knows how to rescue us ๐
But He is also saying He will punish the unjust. And that to is a comfort. Because let’s face it, watching people who hurt the innocent and the faithful is hard. It’s helps knowing that one day they will be held accountable.
We can Trust God; He has it all in Hand ๐
Peter: God’s Justice
4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
So why would we think that we can do whatever we want-when we want?
We all enjoy thinking of God’s Mercy. I know I do :). But God is equally Just and we need to remember that ๐
Peter: It is worse for the Believer who turns from God than someone who never Believed At All!
“It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.”2 Peter 2:21
“You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that–and shudder”-James 2:19
This is such an important Biblical concept, especially since so many Christians are “falling away” during these days of apostasy.
We, who follow Jesus, often don’t think about it much, but it is from the Bible and it is true. For those who have known Jesus, been taught about the Gospel, but later turned away, the consequences will be much worse.
And if we think about it, it makes sense. God is Just, as well as Merciful. It is only Just that a person who was given a real chance at Salvation, but turned away, face harsher consequences.
It’s a lesson we don’t think about often, but it is also Peter’s warning to us. The Bible tells us much that is “good” news to us, but it also warns us of the dangers we face.
And for our own sake, we need to heed both ๐
