A silver lining is defined as, “A silver lining is a sign of hope or a positive aspect in an otherwise negative situation”.
We may live in difficult times and there seems to be no limit to the dark clouds forming sometimes, but God has indeed Blessed us with many signs of hope for “His Blessings are new every morning”.
From Bible verses to signs of hope in our personal lives such as a beautiful sunrise or a hug from a much loved individual, Hope Lives In Our Lives ?
Below are just a few Bible verses to hold on to when the day is long ?
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10
“There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.” – Proverbs 23:18
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.” – Jeremiah 17:7
“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” – 1 Peter 5:10
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31
“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things.”- Colossians 3:1-2
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” – Romans 15:13
“Those who are wise[a] will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.” – Daniel 12:3
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” – Revelations 21:4
A word about Daniel 12:3 (above). We all have a choice to make. We can be wise and shine in these dark times, or we can refuse to do so. It’s a choice given to us by God Himself. We can and should seek Hope in God, because truly He is our Hope, but we can also offer Hope to another. It’s our choice ?
We will be Safe with God; Do Not Fear 🙂
“ I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[a]; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” – John 10:28-30
God always keeps us Safe. But sometimes we need to remember what “Safe” means. Jesus said that in this “world we would have trouble”. This is still earth.
So we will still have our share of “troubles”.
When we go home to Heaven, there will be NO troubles at all.
So Safe on earth really is more about our Soul’s being Safe. Nothing can take us from God’s Hand. We are Safe and our place in Heaven is assured-thanks to Jesus. And actually, since Heaven is our Eternal Home, it is far more important.
But in this world on earth we “will have troubles”. God will always answer our prayers. But sometimes God’s answers will be Yes, sometimes No and sometimes Not Yet. We pray for so many things: health, finances, the welfare of others…Some we will receive a yes, and some we will not.
But there is one prayer that God will always answer “Yes”. A prayer for Faith. So no matter what challenge you face, pray for Faith.
It’s a Gift, giving by God Himself and His answer is always “Yes”! 🙂
O God, do not remain silent; do not turn a deaf ear, do not stand aloof, O God. See how your enemies growl, how your foes rear their heads. With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish.” – Psalm 83:1-3
There can be no doubt that the enemies of God have been quite busy. But God has not changed and His power is without limits! There is no enemy God cannot defeat and no human being who wishes to be rescued that He can’t rescue ?
The era of Covid has been difficult for every American. But we, each and every one of us, have the courage to handle it, for our courage comes from “walking with the Lord.
And our courage comes from the knowledge that “one day in the presence of God is worth “a 1,000” anywhere else”!
“Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.”- Psalm 84:10
And our courage also comes from the knowledge that:
“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. “ – Philippians 1:21
As Christians, we may die to this life, but only so that we can LIVE in Heaven. We need not fear death ever, because Jesus has already overcome death, and our Eternal Life in Heaven is already assured!
Thanks to Jesus!
There is no doubt that we live in a time where the enemies of God have foolishly appeared. From witches to diviners to satanic worshippers, many in the goverenment and media seek to “normalize” them. As if we should accept them. We should not! As a country, we used to know better. And we should know better!
Below are some of the headlines:

Why Witchcraft is on the Rise?
Some blame the turn of so many in our country to the occult on the the current crisises that we face. They think by claiming to be able to control them, they can escape their fears. But there is only one path to safety, only one path to real courage-and that path is the path of Jesus Christ. Follow Jesus 🙂
The bottomline is this: There are consequences for turning away from God towards the occult. And the consequences are not good. And they may become permanent for those who do not turn back to God while they still can!
We need to stay away from those who embrace the occult- no matter what! They are dangerous to our souls. Instead pray for them to call upon our Lord! Pray that they will Repent and Return to God Now!
Because it may soon be too late!
Has our Faith in Jesus fallen into disuse? Out of fashion? Are our Bible’s covered with dust ? Are our Crosses covered with dust as well? With all in a state of disrepair?
Fortunately, faith is easier to repair then we may think. First, we simply ask our Father’s forgiveness, in Jesus’ name. Next we ask Jesus and the Holy Spirit to forgive us as well-in Jesus’ name. Now we have a clean slate, so to speak.
Next we ask Jesus once again to be our Savior 🙂
And we ask for Christ’s help in staying on Faith’s path. And we ask God to send His Holy Spirit to help us-in Jesus’s name. Amen.
And then we begin. We read the Bible everyday, and we live it. We dust off our Cross. And we pray like other people breath and walk every step to the finish line with Jesus.
“ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7
“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.” – Daniel 12:2
We make our choice while we live on this earth. And we have until we die to make it! Some would say that God is unfair in that one might accept Christ at a young age and some at the last minute. But God is fair! There has to be a cut off somewhere, and this is it!
Whether we awakes to life or everlasting contempt depends on whether we choose to accept and follow Jesus during our life here on earth.
It’s our choice, true freedom, given to us by God Himself. We need to choose wisely 🙂
