We Need To Give Love & Mercy!

“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” – Micah 6:8

We are entering a time when Mercy matters even more than usual. Mercy always matters, but it matters even more now. In America, but also throughout the world. Jesus has always showed us Great Mercy, even when we don’t give it ourselves. We need to show that same Mercy and Love to others.

We need to open our eyes and see the pain and burdens that many others carry, and comfort them. We need to “bind up the wounded” with lovingkindness. And we need to recognize that the wounded may bear a physical wound, but they may also bear a wound of heart. And act accordingly and give them Mercy and Love they need.

Lord, please send me , In Jesus’s Name, Amen 🙂

Love!

There are so many places in the Bible that God talks of the importance of Love.

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself” – Matthew 22:39

“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal” – 1 Corinthians 13:1

To share just a couple 🙂

Showing Mercy was never meant to encourage people to sin or to think love and compassion are meant to excuse sinful behavior. Nothing could be further from the truth! To encourage others to sin is not loving. It is in fact, the very opposite.

For in encouraging people to sin; we are encouraging them to distance themselves from God!

Abortion!

“For you created my inmost being;  you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” – Psalm 139:13

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you” -Jeremiah 1:5

We can see clearly from these Bible verses that God said conception begins at birth! And we also know that God said in the Ten Commandments “Do not kill”. And yet, in 2025, over 73 million of these babies were killed (abortion).

These innocent, defenseless babies are so very precious and loved by God. And yet our world disobeyed God and killed them.

The Ten Commandments

Let’s start with the Ten Commandments:

Thou shall have no other gods before me.

Thou shall not make unto thee any graven image.

Thou shall not take the Name of the Lord thy God in vain.

Remember the sabbath day to keep it Holy.

Honor thy father and thy mother.

Thou shalt not kill.

Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Thou shalt not steal.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

Thou shalt not covet.

Can we say that we have never disobeyed God?

Is Gay Marriage Acceptable To God?

Many liberal churches teach that gay marriage is acceptable to God – it is not.

Many liberal churches teach that gay marriage is Holy – it is not.

There is no place in God’s Word that God says gay marriage is acceptable or Holy.

But there are many with “itchy ears” that say it should be.

And because they feel that what they want is more important than what God does, many of them teach others that choosing gay marriage is okay with God – it’s not.

The Importance Of Obedience!

“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions” – 2 Timothy 4:3

Is this not happening now? Are not many people choosing to attend the church that allows them to do as they wish?

The Beginning Of The Last Days!

Noah’s Ark Sailing Through Stormy Waters

The Last Days are not a favorite topic of Catholics or Protestants. But it is important that we learn about them so we are not misled.

“The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”- Genesis 6:5

Such was Noah’s time and so is ours. We all know those who truly Follow Jesus, but we read of many more who don’t. There is much evil in our world. And God has much reason to be “offended” as Mary, Our Blessed Mother, said at Lourdes.

“The traditional definition of tolerance is living peaceably alongside others in spite of differences. But that view of tolerance has been twisted today to mean that everyone must accept the other person’s viewpoints without question because truth is relative.”

But the truth is not relative to God. There is only one truth-God’s.

And this is exactly the way it was in Noah’s Time. And it has become this way in our time. And so this is where we will begin.

BE Still, And Know That I Am God :)

“Be still, and know that I am God” – Psalm 46:10

When life becomes overwhelming, when someone we love is sick, when our job is in doubt, when the grocery store is more than we can afford. This is when Jesus’s Peace rains down, if we let it.

We have to let go of all we can not control. We need to turn to Jesus completely and surrender! And we need to remember that God Himself is in control 🙂
