“Leave It With God”

Because God Loves Us 🙂

I must share with you that sometimes I am better at this than others.  And sometimes, often, I end up taking a “worry” back a few times before I am finally able to “leave it with our Lord”.

We all do this sometimes.  We want to “leave things with God” , but we take them back.  We have a specific solution in mind and we want that one, lol.  We are not sure we want God’s solution…

But the truth is, God’s solution is always better!  For God can see all the yesterdays, todays, and the tomorrows.  God can see every life that will be touched.  We can’t.  So we need to leave our problems with the Lord and Trust that He loves us enough that His solution will be the best!

Does that mean we can’t pray for someone to get well?  Of course not!  But our prayers should always also include “God’s Will Be Done”.  Because even in this case, God will know what is truly the best thing not only for the person who is sick, but for all who love that person.

Thank you God for loving us that much ?

Wait Upon The Lord!

We can not see the whole of our lives or how our lives may impact others.  So when God says No, or Not Yet, we have to Trust that God knows more than we do.  For God know not just what we want, but what we need.  And He knows what we need today AND tomorrow.  We can only see today.

And let’s face it, what we want is not always what we need!

So keep praying no matter what! God loves you and He will give you what you need ?

Seeing God

One of the hallmarks of my life has being able to see God in it. And I am so very grateful that this has been so 🙂

Remember Moses and the Burning Bush? I wonder sometimes if God appeared now, in the Burning Bush-would we believe?

God is everywhere. God is always with us :). He is in the sunrise and the sunset. He is in a nature preserve and He is in the city. God is in the smile of a friend and in the smile of a stranger. God is in every child, born and unborn. He is in the river, the oceans and the mountains, for God made them all. But it is up to us to see Him, and Believe.

God can be in us, if we just ask Jesus to be our Savior 🙂

God Promises We Will Understand

“Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand” – Daniel 12:10

There is much to learn in this verse. But today, let’s focus on the wise (those who follow Jesus) “shall understand”.

What a wonderful promise! Times may become very difficult, but those who truly have a relationship with Jesus will understand! And because true Christians will understand, they will know that these “End Times” will end and Heaven will await them-in the End 🙂

The Light

“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”-Daniel 12:3

We tend to think of the “End Times” as -only bad. But it will also be a time filled with great opportunity.

A chance to share the light of faith of faith in Jesus and bring others to Heaven with us 🙂

The Beginning of the End

“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.”- Daniel 12:1

The End Times feel many with fear. And it should, if we planned to be here. But we don’t. Notice at the very beginning of Daniel 12 it says, “at that time thy people shall be delivered”!

We may indeed stand at the Beginning of the End, but even if we do, God has a plan those who believe 🙂

My Friends, We Need Some R & R

Although George Whitten of Worthy Devotionals wrote this in 2013, it has much to share with us today. We need rest 🙂

“With all the political craziness regarding Israel and her less than friendly neighbors, we’ve been receiving numerous emails expressing concernt. Thank you for all your love and prayers!

Even in this climate of anxiety, we now prepare to enter, along with all of Israel, into the Shabbat (Sabbat). And as we do, we remember yet again, the deep lesson of entering God’s Perfect Rest.

The word Shabbat comes from the Hebrew verb “shavat”, which literally means “to cease”. Shabbat implies that we need to stop working–stop trying–stop doing–stop worrying and being anxions…simply, cease–be still and rest. In a way, oddly enough, it takes efford. The writer of the letter to the Hebrews puts it this way: Heb 4:11 “let us, therefore, make every effort to enter into that rest, so that no many will fall through byfolliwng their same example of unbelief.”

My Friends, this Shabbat, let’s make the effort to rest in Him, and embrace the profound lesson of His Shabbat…let go, and let God! If you’re dealing with fear of the future, rest along with us–choose to give it to the Lord! Our future is already secure in the finished work of the Messiah! We can trust Him, in faith, knowing that not a single hair of our head can fall to the ground without Him allowing it. Shabbat Shalom!”

My Eyes Are On You. It Is Well With My Soul :)

I love this song. For in it lies both the beauty and hope that we need, a path for us who follow Christ :). The media headlines worry us all! And they should. But the path to real comfort and genuine peace in the midst of so many trials-is to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ! And if we do, our hearts will be filled with the Holy Spirit 🙂

“Through it all, my eyes are on you. And it is well with my soul. So let go my soul and trust in Him. The waves and wind still know His name”-Kristine DiMarco.

Do not fear, God Is With Us 🙂
