Praying When Wounded!

It’s impossible to be married without ever being wounded. It’s impossible to raise a family without ever being wounded. People will always hurt each other no matter how much they love you. Because we are all human.

I have hurt those I love and they have hurt me. This is part of loving someone on earth and being loved by another human being. The only One who will never cause us pain is God. Just as the only One that we can always Trust is God.

All people, including me, will at times let someone down that we really love; will hurt someone that we truly love, that is life on earth. And although we forgive them, the hurt may still exist. So where and how do we show them that we still love them? A hug can be a great place to start.

But the question really is, what do we do now to heal that hurt? We pray for them and for ourselves. And if that hurt does not go away right away, we keep praying. It’s truly amazing how much prayer heals us, and sometimes them.
