This Chrismas: Be Comforted By Christ’s Warning!

^“At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. ²⁴ For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. ²⁵ See, I have told you ahead of time.  “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. ²⁷ For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man”-Matthew 24: 23-27”

‘Look, he is coming with the clouds,’ and ‘every eye will see him, even those who pierced him’; and all peoples on earth ‘will mourn because of him.’ So shall it be! Amen.” -Revelation 1:7

Jesus warned us that many would claim to BE Him in the coming years.  And He warned us that a number of the imposters would even “perform great signs and wonders”.  So how do we recognize the “real” Christ?

Believe me, we won’t miss Him ?.  Because Jesus goes on to say, “For as lightening that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man”.  And further, Revelation 1:7 says, “he is coming with the clouds”. We will see Him!

And there is an additional way to know who Jesus is versus the imposters.  He will not contradict God’s Word in anyway.  So if you know your Bible, you will recognize Him.

In Phillipeans 2, it says that when Jesus comes back, “Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord”.  What a wonderful day that will be!  All of our struggles both in this world and within ourselves will be over.  Peace and Joy will be our permanent state and we will celebrate as never before-together.  Meet you there! ?
