Trusting God!

Trusting God is a decision we make, not a feeling.

We hear that phrase often, “Trust God”. And we want to. We just don’t know how. And that is because we often confuse a Feeling of trust with the Decision to Trust.

Trust is not a Feeling; it’s a Decision. It’s holding onto Jesus’s Hand and walking Him, no matter what is going on in our lives. It’s deciding to place our hand in God’s, and walk with Jesus no matter what.

And we also need to not confuse Trusting God with getting our own way. Trusting God does not mean that we will always get what we want. It means that while sometimes our prayer will be answered yes, what Trust really means is knowing that our Lord will not leave our side no matter what. It means that Jesus loves us and will always love us and will walk with us, or even carry us if we need, always. And it is in that Trust, that we have Hope.

Trust Jesus, He will never let you down!
