“Father, you are good. They need help. I can’t, but You can.
I can’t heal them Father, but, You can.
I can’t forgive them Father, but, You can.
I can’t help them Father, but You can.
This prayer gets God’s attention.”

“God’s Grace is bigger than our guilt” is something I heard on the radio yesterday morning (90.5 FM Christian Radio). What a reassuring thought! Too often, all I focus on is the many ways I failed God. To the point it can temporarily paralyze me, until I wake up and pray :).
But they are right, “God’s Grace is bigger than my guilt”, and I need to let God be God 🙂
We are what we eat! The same is true for our faith. We can’t just feed our bodies, we need to feed our souls too. So often in this world, we are surrounded by the dark. The news is horrible. TV and Movies are often dark as well. But we can choose where we spend our time, listening to Christian music, going to church, volunteering our time, reading a good book, reading God’s Word, in prayer…all of these things will lift us up rather than cast us down.
It’s up to us, it’s our choice. God gave it to us, but we need to use that choice wisely 🙂
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
“You know how sometimes we get a phone call from someone who didn’t intend to dial us? And what do we usually say? Sorry, you have the wrong number.
Well, here’s a bit of food for thought. What if it’s not the wrong number they just dialed? What if they actually dialed the right number, only they didn’t know it?? Some of you may think it’s a little radical but my wife answered a phone call like that … and over an hour later, they were still talking about the Lord. This young man got an earful and boy was he ever touched.
God is everywhere and He is in everything. Nothing happens that He didn’t know from the beginning of time. We need to be ready to jump on an opportunity to share His goodness even though in the natural it might seem a little strange — forget natural! We need to operate in the supernatural!!
My Friends, we need to learn to expect the supernatural with the Lord. He doesn’t always work in the way we think He should. Let’s open our minds and our hearts to what He is doing — especially when it is out of the ordinary! ”
Your family in the Lord with much agape love,

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world”-Jesus (John 16:33)
We need not worry if we have “troubles”, everyone does. But take heart and know that Jesus will walk with us through all of them, every step, every moment, until we come home. 🙂
I woke up this morning and it was raining something fierce! The kind of rain that you can’t even see through, much less drive in! And so, feeling somewhat silly, I asked God if He could please stop the rain while I drove to work. (I am not good at driving in the bad weather, even on my best day:)
It stopped raining completely five minutes before I had to leave for work.
An answered prayer? A coincidence? So often God does answer our prayers, but then we write if off as coincidence.
Our Pastor often says, “Prayer changes things”. He’s right, it does. But we have to choose to believe that and then have the courage to share it 🙂
My favorite story in the Bible is about Gideon. He was afraid, very afraid. In fact, he was so afraid, that one time he waited until night to do what God asked him to do. But he did do God’s Will, despite his fear. That’s always been me. Afraid to reach out there and do God’s Will, but doing it anyway (after much complaining lol).
But you know what, it’s always worked out just fine ?
Just keep praying and your situation will work out just fine to. As my Pastor, Pastor Richburg says, “Prayer Changes Things“.
