Election Day!

“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”-2 Chronicles 7:14

Today, America will face a choice.  A choice that may have consequences that last forever for this country.  Will America choose the path that leads to having a chance to become once again, “One Nation Under God”, or will it choose the path that leads to its’ continued descent into evil?  This is the real question that lies before us.

For those who Follow Christ, we do not get to leave God’s Word, the Holy Bible, out of the voting booth.  Just as we don’t get to live by it only on Sundays!  God’s Word should be in every day, every moment of our lives.  And that includes voting.

And remember. We are not alone in the voting booth. God is with us and sees exactly what we do.

President Reagan once said, “If we ever forget we are One Nation Under God, we will be One Nation Gone Under”. So choose wisely today and remember God is with you in the voting booth and sees all that we do!

The Cross

“He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

“Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.”

But He was wounded[h] for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”

“Allwe like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way;”

“And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
“-Isaiah 53:3-6

America: A Dangerous State Of Disagreement!

While Praying The Rosary, I saw the American Eagle.

America seems to be in a permanent, not to mention, dangerous state of disagreement right now.  Will our country survive?  Will our country return to what it once was, The City on the Hill?  Will we once again put Faith, Freedom and Family first?  Regardless of the outcome of Tuesday’s election, we don’t know yet.  We must pray for whoever wins the next election and pray for the American people.

In Acts 15, we see the church in a state of disagreement.  In verse two we see they had “no small dissension and disputation”.  But disagreements need to be settled by someone.  As in this case, our disagreement in America must be settled by God and our willingness to listen to God and be obedient to God ?.  If we do not, America as it was, will not survive.

We are here on this earth to serve God and each other, not ourselves.

We need not have doubt as to what God commands us to do.  God made His Will for our lives clear in the Holy Bible.  But in order to understand God’s Will, we must ask the Holy Spirit for Help, and read God’s Word Daily.  And we must be willing to obey God’s Will as it is written, not as we wish it were.

Jesus Is The Promise Kept :)

I saw Jesus covered in Rainbows. He wore a long robe and His entire robe and His face were covered in Rainbows 🙂

We have always known that the Rainbow is a sign of God’s Promises Kept! 🙂

It’s not a symbol of any organization here on earth, because the Rainbow belongs to God. It always has and it always will, because God created it! The Rainbow will always be a symbol of God’s Promises Kept! 🙂

Jesus is the Greatest Promise Kept. Despite the horrific suffering, both for Jesus and all who loved Him, we are Saved by God’s Great Sacrifice and Love!

May we learn to love as much as G0d does 🙂

Jesus’ Great Gift!

“Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors.”-Isaiah 53:12

How amazing! Jesus was willing to suffer so much so that He could save us. He loved us that much! His Gift and His Love for us are more than we can comprehend and the last forever.

There seems so little we can do in return. But there are a few things we can give Jesus. We can accept His great Gift and Follow him. We can read the Bible, with the Holy Spirit’s Help, every day and we can live a life that is pleasing to God. And we can follow Jesus’ two commandments: ” ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’  This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ “-Matthew 22:36-40.

Faith & Obedience :)

“Who has believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord received?”-Isaiah 53-1

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations; and then shall the end come.” – Matthew 24:14

Diversity In America :)

Seen While Praying The Rosary: All different people at a picnic, some walking to it. Everyone was happy-together 🙂

I was reminded that the diversity we see in America is the same diversity we will see in Heaven. One website defines diversity like this: “Diversity is the range of human differences”. That seems like a great place to start :).

God created all different people. All different countries. All of these people have different ideas, different cultures, different styles…And God commanded us to love one another. And we should enjoy each other too!

One of the things that made America so strong is that we knew how to do that. We need to help ask God to help us do that again 🙂
