We May Be The Only “Jesus” Someone Ever Meets :)

“You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.” – 2 Corinthians 3:2

A great friend of mine remined me that we may be the only “Jesus” someone ever meets!

It isn’t just what we tell them about Jesus that matters; it’s how we act. Are we kind? Are we smiling? Are we honest? Do we clearly care about them? All of these things really matter!

After all, isn’t that why we love God so much, He loved us first, and so well 🙂

Introduce Someone To Jesus Today!

“Less than two percent of believers in this country ever share their faith in Christ with others.”

Dr. Bill Bright, Founder of Campus Crusade For Christ, Born in 1921

Can you imagine? Less than two percent? The consequences of not having faith in Jesus Christ are so severe and they last forever. Don’t we owe it to those who do not believe to at least tell them about Jesus?

And it isn’t just about Heaven, although showing others the way to Heaven is really important! It’s about every single day, because that is how often Jesus helps us 🙂

He helps us get up in the morning-every day; Jesus answers our prayers; He listens to all of our worries and cheers us on when times are good… Jesus is our Savior & Best Friend!

But if we don’t even know Jesus, He can’t be.

Time is short! Introduce someone to Jesus today 🙂

Warning: The Winepress!

“Then another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.  And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe.”

“So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.  And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the horses’ bridles, for one thousand six hundred [a]furlongs.” – Revelation 14: 17-20

Many think this will happen in the Battle of Armageddon. Regardless as to how it happens, it clearly means the wicked will be punished.

I saw the grapes on the vine: fully ripe.

God’s Warning!

“Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.”

“Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?”

1“Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?” – Ezekiel 9-11

Jesus did not replace the Old Testament with the New, He continued it. There’s a difference.

Warning: We Must Not Become Complacent!

“At that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the men who are complacent, those who say in their hearts, ‘The Lord will not do good, nor will he do ill.’”-Zephaniah 1:12

Complacency, we are all guilty of it at some point in our lives. It’s an easy trap to fall into, especially when life is going well.

When we are facing life’s challenges such as an illness, job loss or death in the family, we immediately turn to God and plead with Him to help us. We call upon Jesus and the Holy Spirit for it is easy for us to see our great need of their help!

But it is when things are going well that we tend to “feel” to busy for God. We say less prayers; we go to church less often and we spend less time with our Lord. We become complacent.

And if we are not careful, this complacency can lead to a lack of faith.

We should not wait until we “need” God’s Help! We can and should call upon the Lord and spend time with Him now! Pray now! Obey Him now!

For there will come a time when we need our Lord’s Help desperately!

How Long Will God Wait?

“God may appear to be overlooking sin, especially when evil seems to triumph in our day. Rest assured that within the very core nature of God is His justice. He cannot by nature overlook sin. And He has appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness. You can be sure of that.”

Jay Fowler

We learn from the Book of Jeremiah that those nations who do not listen to and do not obey the Lord-fall. That is exactly what happened in the Book of Jeremiah and it is what will happen to our nation if we do not start listening to and obeying God.

God gave Jerusalem many chances, but they did not obey Him. And in the Bible, we can see the results of their choice!

Is America not in the same place of not listening to and not obeying God? How long do we think that God will wait?

Share God’s Word Today-Time IS Running Out!

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.-Isaiah 60:1-2

“The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary”- Isaiah 50:4

We are all called upon to share the truth of God’s Word. There are millions of us who follow Jesus, who serve God, all over the world. Never has it been more important that we share God’s Word and the Way to Heaven 🙂

Time IS running out. Share God’s Word today!

King Of Connect The Dots

A great friend wrote this, just had to share 🙂

When it seems like following God’s Will and Purpose in your life, is more difficult than when you were not – it becomes easy to be disappointed, complain and be bitter towards Him – even thinking that you could have done better on your own (i.e. doesn’t this sound like the evil one saying “I told you so.”). If you only knew how much that God’s Assignments are SO Perfectly Refined and for your personal well being – that His Infinite Love and Care for you IS like no other – you would be ashamed for a single thought or word spoken against Him. Thank God, His Love knows no boundary – that He gave His Only Son, Jesus Christ just for you, whom WAS, and IS, and IS to come – even knowing that some of the world would reject Him. God weaves your time granted on earth together with His Children, like the Master He IS – knowing how much you will impact another, many times that you are not even aware of. Only His Mercy and Grace allows you to have glimpses – God IS Good like that! Amazingly, He still gives you a choice to listen to Him or not. Please, REALLY listen to Him! Amen.

Remember when you use to play connect the dots and when you thought you were really getting good at it – now close your eyes and imagine billions and billions of dots that not only require connecting but intersecting with one another! Your Heavenly Father Truly IS “King of Connect the Dots”! Every moment before you, during you, after you, He intricately orchestrated and planned. That IS why it is SO important to be part of His Plan – that your moments spent on earth are to His Glory and Honor! Know that His Heart aches when you are not – Truly He needs you to share Him with others, to be His Extension of His Healing Touch to those in need – His Instrument in His Orchestra, in Tune, Watching and Listening to Him, Focused and Prepared to Perform – to not hesitate when He points His Baton at you! Amen.

Now may you always know God’s Love, Peace and Joy that He freely gives you – that He YEARNS to give you! May you rejoice for the opportunity to humbly serve Him well, now and forever. LOOK – He IS pointing His Baton at you now!!

In Jesus’ Name. Thy Will be done. Amen. Peace.

We Will Win The “War” !

“For the nation and kingdom which will not serve you shall perish,
And those nations shall be utterly ruined.”
-Isaiah 60:12

Looking around, it can look like Christians are “losing” so to speak. In a variety of places. In some countries, Christians are imprisoned or put to death. In our country, many Christians are persecuted either in the public square or in the courts. The media, growing peer pressure and the fear which is created by the government, the media and even some corporations and schools- the list of ways that many find to attack those who follow Christ are endless.

So let me be clear, there is NO one world religion and all religions are NOT true. The ONLY way to Heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ!

Back to the “War on Christians”-spoiler alert-Those on the side of Jesus Christ win! Isaiah 60:12 is true! We need not fear! We may lose a “battle” here and there, but we WILL win the “war”.

Fueling Up For The Trip :)

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” -1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Sometimes we just know that we are going to face a difficult day. It could be a work issue, a health issue, a family issue…It really could be so many different things.

But the answer is always the same. Pray more! Prayer is the gas (fuel) that keeps the engine running. If we are in for a long, hard trip, than we need to be sure to fill our gas tanks up-so to speak. It’s just part of getting ready 🙂
