My Prayer :)

Dear Jesus:

You are here again.  Loving me again.  Forgiving me again.  You are here, always.  Thank you.

For it is more than I deserve.  More than I ever hoped for.  More than I can ever comprehend.  Thank you.

Please always hold on to me, even if sometimes I forget to hold on to you.  Don’t let me go-ever.

For I am yours always.

Help me learn to be as faithful to you, as you are to me.

Help me learn to be the servant You deserve.

And help me to love God and others as You command.

Thank you!

I love you Jesus.  Amen

Jesus will never give up on anyone!

A popular misconception is that Jesus came to “unite us” and bring “peace on earth”. Sadly, that is just not true.

In Luke the Bible talks of a time where there will be a great division.  A division we currently see. For clearly, we live in that time.  Jesus said in Luke 12: 51 “Suppose that I am come to give peace on earth?  I will tell you, Nay, but rather division”.

What did He mean by this?  Jesus goes on to say that families and friends shall be divided over faith in Him.  Some will believe and some won’t.  And clearly, we can see that is true today.  A sad time, especially during these difficult days.

But Jesus also promises that many will come to believe in the last days.  And He promises to forgive anyone who repents and to be their Savior if they accept Him. And to stand before the Father and to be their “advocate”.

So today, if you love someone who does not believe in Jesus, do not despair.  Because Jesus loves them too and as long as they live He will not give up on them.  Because Jesus loves them even more than we do or can, and Jesus aways keeps His Promises! ?

We Will Be Saved :)

For those wondering if God will protect them during this season of time.  God has a history of protecting His people.  Just remember what He did during the time of Moses:

“This is what the LORD says: “About midnight I will go throughout Egypt. Every firstborn son in Egypt will die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the firstborn of the slave girl, who is at her hand mill, and all the firstborn of the cattle as well. There will be loud wailing throughout Egypt—worse than there has ever been or ever will be again.”

— Exodus 11:4–6

But before this plague, God told Moses to tell the Israelites to mark their doors so that this plague would not hurt them. And they were saved! ?

Will we be saved from this virus?  Only God can answer that question. But there is one piece of Good News I can share with you-Those who accept and follow Jesus Christ will one day be in Heaven and nothing and no one can stop that!  Not even this virus…

God’s faithfulness is great, even when our own is not.  He has never let us down and He won’t start now!

Sealed In The Spirit

Sealed With The Holy Spirit

What does it mean to be sealed with the Holy Spirit? Through God’s Mercy and Grace with the suffering, death, and Resurrection of His only Son, Jesus Christ, ALL of His Children are given the choice to fervently repent of their sins, ask for God’s Forgiveness, and request Jesus into their hearts to change them for His Good (i.e. Jesus IS patiently waiting outside their heart’s door just for this opportunity). His Helper, the Holy Spirit IS sent, they are Born Again in Spirit and Sealed with the Holy Spirit. God’s Word shares with you regarding being sealed with His Holy Spirit. “Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us IS God, who also sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.” (2 Corinthians 1:21) His Word also warns His Children do not grieve the Spirit. “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away with you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:30-32) Does this mean that His Children no longer have troubles after this? No. “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

Tribulation, suffering, and affliction belong to this world and there is no escaping them. This is a hard lesson to learn. We can, however, take heart, because God has overcome the world. Being sealed with the Holy Spirit through Him, we are Victors with Christ in us! We are blessed with God’s Joy and Peace even in the midst of this world’s worst. We have the opportunity to accept, use, or reject His Blessings. The Divine Spirit supplies us with the energy of His Determination. God urges us to build ourselves up in Holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Even before we start to study God’s Inspired Word, we need to ask God to send His Holy Spirit to reveal to us what He needs us to know and understand in those exact moments. We also need to make this request to send His Holy Spirit, to help us before we pray to our Heavenly Father, to help and direct us. We should always end our prayers with “In Jesus’ Name. Thy Will be done. Amen.” We need to die daily and be Renewed and Refreshed in the Spirit daily, to grow in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and He in you. Can the seal of the Holy Spirit be broken? Yes. By our choice of not being obedient and sliding away from God, this can definitely happen. The best part IS that God, through His Mercy and Grace, will take back His Child who fervently repents and asks for His Forgiveness.

My thoughts and prayers are that you are sealed with His Holy Spirit. That you die daily and are Renewed and Refreshed daily in the Spirit, growing in Him and He in you. That you do NOT grieve the Holy Spirit of God. That you seek God’s Face in every thought, word, and deed. That you ask Him for His Forgiveness when you don’t. That you share Him with others. In Jesus’ Name. Thy Will be done. Amen. Peace.

It’s Not Too Late…

The Old Testament is filled with stories of times when God was forced to discipline His people because of their bad behavior.  Although our Lord clearly loved them and provided for all of their needs, people often turned away from our Lord and towards evil.  Such is the story of our nation.

Our nation was once formed as a Christian nation.  We honored our Lord and we loved one another.  In God We Trust was our motto and we said it proudly.  One Nation Under God was a part of our Pledge of Allegiance, and we were proud and grateful to say it.  Now we have kicked God out of our schools, and school shootings have been the result.  We have murdered countless unborn babies, and hearts that ache endlessly has been our reward.  Some of our State Houses has actually honored those who follow Satan.

Although God has been clear in the Holy Bible that He does not favor gay marriage, we have allowed our country to embrace it as the new “normal”.  One has only to turn on the television or go to the movies to see just how far away our nation has turned from God, and the traditions and values that built this great country.

But there is good news as well.  God is still listening to our prayers.  Even now.  And there is one particular sentence in the Bible that matters so much today:

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

There is still time for our nation to turn back to our Lord and the values and traditions that built this great country.  We don’t have to let our nation sink into the abyss, we can choose to follow Christ and do all that He has taught us.

Last Year Does Not Matter, This Year Does!

Everywhere you look, the news today is bad. And sadly, for Christians, it will get worse. Much worse. During a sermon I was listening to, it talked about how it doesn’t matter how much we earned last year, it matters what we earn this year. The same can be said of our relationship with our Lord.. We can’t rely on our relationship with our Lord from last year, we need to work on it every single day. As for the discouraging news, we need to take it as a reminder to walk closely with our Lord and enjoy today, the day God has given us. Be cozy at home, make a great dinner, enjoy our time with our husbands and children. And keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, and our hearts filled with the Holy Spirit. Our Father would never send us, where “His Grace would not sustain us”. So my friends, “Do not fear”. Jesus Lives, and so will we

“The Lord is my defense; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

Psalm 94 can be a great comfort, for it assures us of two things.  The Lord will defend and protect us, and justice will prevail!

The Holy Bible:  King James Version, Pslam 94

94 O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.

Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

They break in pieces thy people, O Lord, and afflict thine heritage.

They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

10 He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law;

13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

14 For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

17 Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

18 When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.

19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

22 But the Lord is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the Lord our God shall cut them off.
