God Our Father Loves Us :)

It’s difficult to find any words that can adequately describe our Father’s Love for us, although this video does a pretty good job of it 🙂

How do we describe our biggest cheerleader?  How do we describe a Father who always catches us when we fall.  And not just sometimes, but All the time.  A Father who makes us brave, and loves us even when we are not. A Father who loved us enough to sacrifice His own Son so that we might be Saved. (John 3:16)

Our Father’s Mercy and Grace are endless.  “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him”-Romans 8:28.  And notice, this verse does not say that our Father, in all things, works for the good of those who are perfect;  our Father, “works all things to our good”, just because we love Him.

I can’t help but think sometimes of just how much our Father must have suffered when Jesus was on the Cross.  His pain as He watched His Son suffer so!  And while I am sure our Father must have been so very proud of his Son, He must have hurt for Him as well.

I couldn’t do it.  When one of my children has the smallest hurt, it hurts me.  When one of my children is seriously sick, I am frantic.  No matter how much I love others, I would not be able to sacrifice one of my children in that way, but our Father did.

And that alone should tell us just how much our Father loves us.  How much our Father wants us to be able to go to Heaven with Him.  And no matter what we do, our Father never gives up on us.

And we need to not give up either.  So no matter where we are, we need to tell our Father how much we love Him and repent of any sin that may separate us from our Father, for forgiveness is available to all through Jesus Christ, as is His Love ?

“Love Moved First”

There is a song out, “Love Moved First” by Casting Crowns. Someone asked me once, why I loved Jesus so much.

The answer is simple, He loved me first-and always.

Through my good times and my bad times. On days when I was filled with joy, Jesus was filled with joy for me. On days when I was filled with fear, He walked through my fears with me. And during times when I was filled with pain, He held my hand. And with my times of weakness, Jesus was endlessly patient with me, for which I am so very grateful.

Jesus never let go. He never moved. He is always with me. And as much as I am grateful for the love and support from those on earth who love me, Jesus’ love is different. It is special. And unlike human love, which can at times be limited by our own human nature,- Jesus’ love never fails.

Jesus is the Son of God and His love is always there and it is always complete. He knows every fault and every weakness, and He loves us anyway 🙂

And Jesus loves every single person that way; and that is a love worth everything and it is all that matters 🙂

Hope In The Last Days

“Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.” – Revelation 3:10

“Saying, “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” – Revelation 7:3

“At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book.” -Daniel 12:1

These verses were written for a number of reasons, but one reason is to give us hope. Our Safe Haven in these times is the Lord. It will always has been; it always will be.

So do not be afraid! God has not forgotten you and Jesus is Coming Back!

Is Another Pestilence Coming?

Not long ago I was praying and saw a vision of a microscopic picture of a some type of disease.  It seems to come closest to Candida, but I am really not sure.  (Not being a scientist, lol).

Not long after I had a dream.  Amazingly vivid.  And I saw small , flat red circles on a bed.  They were bed bugs.  Bed bugs carry many different diseases.

Ironically, they are attracted to yeast (candida).

Are You Insured?

From Worthy Devotions:

Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

“In the wake of this historic arctic winter storm and its catastrophic damage, an article came out discussing how this will break all records in Texas as a result!  In today’s news, estimates point to a record over $20 billion dollars in insurance claims!

It reminded me of when we first arrived in Israel about seventeen years ago, my wife was almost eight months pregnant. We wanted to have everything concerning the birth worked out ahead of time because we knew we’d have so many other things to think about once we got here. So we made certain to pay for our Israeli health insurance coverage even before we arrived, just to be sure we would have no problems.

But something inconceivable happened — the Israeli government went on strike before our payment information was entered into their records. When we tried to get prenatal care and sign up at the hospital, they had no record of our payment and thus, no way to help us (unless, of course, we were willing to pay an obscene amount of money, money we didn’t have). Little did we know that the strike would continue for four months!

To make a long story short, our baby was born on the kitchen floor of our little Jerusalem apartment. I can honestly say it was one of the most terrifying, yet profound experiences of our lives.

But this got me thinking about insurance. Why do we buy insurance? So that we can be insured that we will get the help or care we need, should we ever need it, right? SURE! Well, we even paid in advance to have that assurance, and we didn’t get it when our time of need came!

We are living in crazy times. Times where anything goes — and anything can happen. And there is really only one insurance company that has been found truly faithful to help us in our time of need through it all. No, it’s not Red Cross, or Blue Cross… It’s THE Cross! What’s more, this insurance doesn’t cost us a thing! You’d think more people would jump on this deal, wouldn’t you? Yeshua (Jesus) already paid for it with His hard-earned blood sweat and tears, on the cross two thousand years ago.

TheresaF, let’s take the time today to spread this heavenly insurance available for FREE — in this day and age … people need it!”

How Many Times?

A Friend sent me this, had to share 🙂

How Many Times?

“How many times has His Word spoken, regarding future of nation not bearing fruit,That the Kingdom of God will be taken away, given to another nation, their pursuit,For your Heavenly Father Loves His Children, will give His Blessings but if abused,Shall take them away, give to those whom Honor Him, prove in His Glory be used.

How many times will evil exploit, create chaos, destruction, but no one there listen,To warnings given to repent, accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, turn from sin,Share His Word with His Children, be His Example, for All granted moments spent,Walk in His Ways, grow in True faith, trust Him for His Will in your life, for you sent.

How many times will take for eyes to open to His Truth, know His Peace and Love,His Holy Spirit stirring in hearts, Living in them, actively shine His Light from above,Show His Path for All, His Holy Compass, His Direction, His Word leaves no doubt,With All your heart, mind, soul, request His Full Blessings to share, with Joy shout.

How many times to get your attention, change your ways to His Ways, not hesitate,Wake up from worldly sleep, wash in the Blood of the Lamb, His Cleansing Create,For All your debt has already been paid, through death and Resurrection, The Son,Take up your cross, follow Jesus and He will lead you, to His Father, His Salvation.”

What Can We Do For God?

“Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”-John F Kennedy

We all know what Jesus did, and does, for us. But what is it we can do for Jesus?

We can Love.

Love God, love our neighbor, love those we like and those we don’t. Because Love is a decision, a choice. And one we make intentionally.

So what does that look like? Bring someone who is sick or elderly dinner. Offer to carry someone’s groceries. Smile often. Hug more. Call someone up and encourage them. Be a good listener…

There is an endless list of things we can do to show love to others.

And that is one thing we can do for Jesus, Love others as He Loves us 🙂

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom”

In Proverbs 9:10 it says, “Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”

In Jeremiah 32:39 & 40 it says, “I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me and that all will then go well for them and for their children after them. 40 I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so they will never turn away from me”

We “fear” God as children “fear” their parents who love them. And we are wise to do so. We love to think about God’s Love, but we don’t as often meditate on just how Powerful God really is.

God created our world. He created the sun, moon and stars. He created the seas and the mountains. He created all of the animals and us!

Jesus did not hang on that Cross because He had to, He suffered on the Cross because He was Willing to, because He loved us!

Perhaps we should fear God more, for far too often we ignore Him and do as we please. God will not be patient forever. God gave us a roadmap (The Bible) for a reason, to keep us safe with Him 🙂

Ash Wednesday: The Start of Lent!

Ash Wednesday is believed to have started in the 6th century and it begins again today.  Lent is meant to be a time of repentance and a time to truly meditate on all that Jesus willingly suffered so that we might go to Heaven.

Not only His Death on the Cross on Good Friday and the fact that He Rose to Life on Easter, but all the suffering that leads up to those days.  Think about our own human nature.  Jesus would have thought of His Mom’s suffering and the suffering of His Father.  And the suffering of all of those who loved Him.

Jesus also would have thought of the good that would occur.  The Saving of us and those before us.  How much He loved us!

Can we truly imagine being whipped or watching whipped we love be scourged? How that must have hurt!

Can we truly imagine how physically hard it must have been to walk to and from all of those cities when Jesus was preaching?  How His back, legs and feet must have hurt.  But because He loved us, He kept going…

Despite His Great Love and Sacrifice for us, some rejected Him. How that must have hurt!  He was willing to sacrifice so much for us and yet there were those who did not accept it and those who accepted it but did not really appreciate it. And sadly, that is still true today!

And it was not just His Sacrifice that was horrific.  Mary stood at His feet and watched Him suffer.  Those who loved Him, like John, also stood at His feet and watched His Great sacrifice too.  How difficult it must have been for Jesus to watch the pain of those who loved Him.  And how horrific it must have been for Mary to watch her Son suffer so.

And there was the Sacrifice of our Father.  How much it must have hurt our Father to watch His Only Son suffer so!  How much God must have loved us to be willing to do that.  And how much our Father loves us still.

This is what Lent is for.  It’s a time for Meditating on all Jesus sacrificed and on the sacrifices of those who loved Him.  It’s a time to meditate on Jesus’ Great Love for us and a time for repentance for us.

And in a time of Covid and political upheaval, it’s exactly the right time for both.

Psalm 53

Many Christians meditate on this Psalm on Ash Wenesday:

53 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.”
