Why We Need To Warn Others!

“Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” – Isaiah 58:1

If we truly love one another as God has commanded, then we must also tell one another the truth. Which means telling people when they sin.

There are those who will say this is not kind. But is it kind to watch someone we love go to Hell, when we could have told them the truth and watched them go to Heaven:)

One reason Jesus came was so that we might have forgiveness. But forgiveness requires repentance. We can’t repent if we don’t even know our sins!

So if we truly love others, we need to warn them just as God’s Word warns us.

Prepare, Pray & Be Ready!

God’s Warning!

“The Lord has chastened me sore, but he has not given me over unto death”-Psalm 118:18

There is no doubt looking around our world that life is harder than it used to be! And sadly, a lot of this is our own fault. As a nation, we turned our backs on the Lord; we disobeyed God repeatedly. Yes, absolutely, there are many who still Follow Jesus and obey God, but our country is led by those who do not. And there are a number of countries led by those who do not obey God. And sadly, we all pay the price.

But there is also a passage in the Psalm that says:

“The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.”

-Psalm 118:6-8

For those who Follow Jesus, we need not fear :). For those who do not Follow Jesus, it is not too late-yet.

Prepare, Pray and Be Ready!

God’s Warning!

“Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.”

“Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?”

1“Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?” – Ezekiel 9-11

Jesus did not replace the Old Testament with the New, He continued it. There’s a difference.

Prepare, Pray & Be Ready!

A Warning & A Reward :)

Thank You!

“And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.   And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.  But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” – Matthew 24:10-13

Sounds a lot like today. But it may be a slower process than we think for there is one verse in the Bible that lets us know that the end may not be quite yet:

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” – Matthew 24:14

However, we do not know when the day and hour is that Jesus will return, so we need to Be Ready:

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”-Matthew 24:36

So we need to Prepare, Pray and Be Ready, because it will come!

A Warning For All!

From https://www.bible-studys.org/Bible%20Books/Amos/Amos%20Chapter%204.html:

“Verses 6-11: Past warnings were futile, a fact repeatedly emphasized by “Yet you have not returned to Me” (verses 6, 8-11).

Before confronting sinners in final judgment, God has often used drastic measures, in this case, famine (4:6), drought (4:7-8), the devastation of crops (4:9), plague (4:10, and warfare (4:10); in an effort to get people’s attention and bring them to repentance. Still, Israel would not return to Him. Every person must “prepare to meet … God”, either as loving father or as divine Judge (Heb. 10:31; Rev. 20:15).”

We love messages of God’s Mercy, and this, believe it or not, is a Great Mercy. Because God loves us, He warns us. We must turn back to Him or face the consequences…

For a list of some of God’s previous warnings, read Amos 4.  Although this happened in the Old Testament, that does not mean it will not happen today.

While we can’t control what others choose, we can control what we choose.

“And as for me and my house-we will serve the Lord.  I hope you to choose to do so too ?
