Thank You Father

A friend sent me this, I loved it so much just had to share ?

Pancakes

“Once upon a time, a five-year-old boy decided one Saturday morning to fix his parents pancakes. He found a big bowl and spoon, pulled a chair to the counter, opened the cupboard and pulled out the heavy flour canister, spilling it on the floor! He scooped some of the flour into the bowl with his hands, mixed in most of cup of milk and added some sugar, leaving a floury trail on the floor, which by now had a few tracks left by his kitten. The young boy was covered with flour and getting frustrated. He wanted this to be something very good for Mom and Dad, but it was getting very bad.

He didn’t know what to do next, whether to put it all into the oven or on the stove, and he didn’t know how the stove worked! Suddenly he saw his kitten licking from the bowl of mix and reached to push her away, knocking the egg carton to the floor. Frantically, he tried to clean up this monumental mess but slipped on the eggs, getting his pajamas white and sticky. Just then he saw Dad standing at the door. Big crocodile tears welled up in the boy’s eyes. All he’d wanted to do was something good, but he’d made a terrible mess. he was sure a scolding was coming, maybe even a spanking or time-out. But his father just watched him. Then, walking through the mess, he picked up his crying son, hugged him and loved him, getting his own pajamas white and sticky in the process.

That’s how your Heavenly Father deals with you. You try to do something good in life, but it turns into a mess. Your relationship with someone gets sticky, you insult a friend, you can’t stand your job or need one, or your health goes sour. Sometimes, you just stand there in tears because you can’t think of anything else to do. That’s when God picks you up and loves and forgives you, even though some of your mess gets all over Him. But just because you might mess up, you can’t stop trying for God or for others. Sooner or later, you’ll get it right, and then you’ll be glad you tried. My thoughts and prayers are that you NEVER give up on yourself or God! That you Truly Trust in Him for ALL you are, do and need, that His Infinite Mercy and Grace IS Present in you and you in Him.

That you accept His Love and Peace, that only He can give! That you help others know His Love and Peace, like He helps you. In Jesus’ Name. Thy Will be done. Amen. Peace.”

God Goes Before Us-Always!

“King of the Battle, You Go Before!”

I love the song “Every Crown” by Bryan Boliver (posted below).  Think about just the first line:  “King of the Battle, You go before”.  We never go into Battle alone, ever.  God always goes before us!  What a Blessing!  What a comfort!  We face no battle alone.  And not only do we not face it alone, God Goes Before Us!

The next line is “Ruling in Power, we stand secure”.  We who follow Christ are always secure!  There is never a time when God does not know everything that is happening to us, around us.  He’s GOT this.

“enemies fall to their knees they are defeated”.  Our enemies, and the enemies of Christ, WILL be defeated.  While it may be customary to focus on God’s Great Love for us, right now, we need to also focus on God’s Great Power as well.  The “war has already been won by Jesus Christ”, we need not fear.

Vanquishing every fear.  Hope can begin again”.  Doesn’t this make each of us smile.  We all know that there are those who oppose and persecute Christians.  But it is temporary.  There will come a day when ALL Christians will be safe from those who oppose or persecute us.  We will be free from those who seek to silence us and we will be able to share God’s Praises without fear.  Just as we will be able to share our stories of Salvation and Blessing without fear.  For our time will have come ?

“YOU ARE THE GOD WHO SAVES”.

What more need be said?  There is only one side worth choosing! ?

Sin Matters!

“God may appear to be overlooking sin, especially when evil seems to triumph in our day. Rest assured, that with in the very core nature of God is His Justice.”

“He cannot by nature overlook sin.”

“And He has appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness. You can be sure of that.”-Jay Fowler

This concept is so important. Why?

For one, forgivness requires true repentance. And true repentance requires both genuine sorrow and change. Do we sometimes fall into the same sin again? Of course we do, for we are weak and God understands that. But God knows the difference between our best effort to lead a Holy life-and not even trying. Because God knows our hearts. And for this, we thank God.

There is another reason that this concept is important. As we look around the world, we see a great many injustices. A great many people hurt. But God is Just! And while He sent His only Son to forgive our sins and bring us to Heaven because He is merciful and loves us, He is also Just.

Those who continue to reject Jesus will not enter the Gates of Heaven. Just as no evil will ever enter the Gates of Heaven. Rest assured, along with God’s Mercy, Justice will come. And unlike some of our courts here on earth, it will be completely Just.

God is as Merciful as He is Just. No matter how dark the days, we can trust Him.

A Prayer for America

By Debbie McDaniel

It is “God who changes the times and seasons; He sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.” – Daniel 2:21

Sometimes in the midst of heated political battles and uncertain times, it’s difficult to even know how to pray or where to begin. We just know we have a deep ache in our hearts that cries out for God’s mercy, and a longing to see him heal our land. Maybe other times we wonder how effective our prayers even are. Yet God is faithful, no matter how we feel, and His Presence of power and peace still reigns over all that swirls around us in our nation today.

That same power that broke prison chains, raised Lazarus from the dead, and parted the Red Sea, the same power that healed the blind man, and delivered the delirious from demons, that same power is at work even today. He is the same. Yesterday, today, and forever.May we stand together in unity as believers in Christ, and pray for God to heal our land, and strengthen His people. May we pray for all those in authority. May we pray for God’s miraculous intervening, for blind eyes to be opened, for many to see the power of our Lord as never before.

Dear God,Thank you for your great power.  We praise you for your Truth.  We’re grateful that you have set us free from the clutching grasp of sin and death.Would you be with your people, extending your grace, granting your freedom, providing your protection, and empowering with your strength.  We ask that you’d bring about an awakening of your presence as never seen before.  We ask that your Name be proclaimed, that all plans to silence the Name of Jesus would be thwarted and crushed. We pray that many would come to know you as Lord and Savior, we pray that many would see your Light, that you would open blind eyes and release those still imprisoned. We pray that you would unify your people for the glory of your Name, that all who call themselves Christians would rise up, believing your great Truth.Wake us up Lord! Remind us to live aware, to redeem the time, to listen to your words, to be willing to make a difference in this land.We pray for all those in authority, that you would give them your wisdom and discernment as they lead. We ask that you would appoint strong, faithful men and women to serve this nation and our people. We pray for your great healing on our land. Shine your face on us dear God. We need you now, more than ever before. Our times are in your hands.

Thank you that you are rich in mercy and full of grace. Thank you that you are forgiving and merciful. Thank you that you are strong and mighty. Thank you that you are for us and that you fight for us still today.Bring honor to your Name, Oh Lord, for You alone are worthy. In the Powerful Name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Thank God :)

President Trump is indeed a great President.   He appointed three Supreme Court Justices and made peace for Israel with a number of middle eastern countries.  If he accomplished just those two, that would be huge.  But he did so much more!  He will never be forgotten and he will always be loved.  By us and by God.

But as amazing as President Trump is-he is not our Savior.  Jesus IS.

And because Jesus is-all those who accept Him will go to Heaven forever.

I am so very grateful. Thank you Jesus 🙂

In Isaiah 60, it speaks of what Heaven will be like.  Our children will be with us.  There will be no violence.  Any nation that does not serve God will be gone.  Where we have been hated; we will be a joy.  We will be with God forever and we will have everything we need to be filled with joy and peace.  There will be no more sin.  We will be safe. The list goes on…

America may indeed be able to mistreat those who follow Christ on earth.  That our beloved country would do that is indeed very sad.  But it is Temporary.  Because no amount of evil, no amount of cheating and no amount of government interference can ever overcome our Lord-or us, if we follow Christ.

Jesus is coming back and no power on earth can stop Him. And that’s why our “Hope, and our Help comes from the Lord”.

We need not fear! For soon we will go Home forever.  Thank God ?

Buckle Up!

A Friend of mine sent this, just had to share 🙂

“Once upon a time, a person was driving to visit with their relatives over a holiday weekend. They came upon an electronic interstate highway sign, the kind the state can change the message to alert those on the road of different conditions. But this one particularly caught the attention of the person driving and made them think about it. It read, “State Troopers did NOT take the weekend off. Slow down. Buckle up.”

Perhaps the message also gave others, to be more careful about speeding over the allowable speed limit and to remember to use their seat belts for safety precautions. The person also thought about how God’s Word gives us such similar messages. Our Heavenly Father, Son and Holy Spirit does NOT take the weekend off (i.e. or any time for that matter), for His Children to slow down (i.e. to really absorb His Awesome Mercy and Grace being given freely), and to buckle up (i.e. put on the Whole Armor of God).

Although one would always like to take time to relax and take time off from their busy schedule, it is easy to forget that God does NOT. He IS always watching over each of His Children personally 24/7. It is also easy to rush around and miss the tiny miracles that constantly happen around us and His Messages that our Heavenly Father sends us for His Direction in our life. By slowing down, studying God’s Word with the help and guidance of His Holy Spirit, this gives you the opportunity of really soaking in His Breath in you. Always asking for and buckling up with God’s Protection, keeps you safe from the fiery darts of the evil one (i.e. who, by the way, does not take any time off either).

My thoughts and prayers are that you travel safely on your journey through life, slow down and know God’s Blessings Full. That you ask for God’s Protection and Presence in your life, soaking up His Special Blessings of His Awesome Healing Power and Touch, His Mercy and Grace, His Strength and Courage, His Compassion and Caring for His Children, His Love, Joy, and Peace. That you do not hesitate to share ALL of God with others. In Jesus’ Name. Thy Will be done. Amen. Peace.”

Take A Stand For Christ!

“The scribes and pharisies were watching Him closely to see if He would heal on the Sabbath, so that they could find a charge against Him”-Luke 6:7

“When the man with the shriveled hand stood before Him on the Sabbath, Jesus knew the pharisees and teachers of the law were looking to accuse Him. But He did not allow Himself to be controlled by potential accusations”-Jesus Day by Day

How many times do we refrain from sharing our faith in Jesus because we are afraid of what others will say? Or we refrain from giving Jesus credit for our Blessings, because we are afraid of someone’s reaction?

Courage is not the abscense of fear; it’s the facing of fear. We can’t let the reaction of others control us. It’s normal to be afraid, but we need to speak anyway.

The “world” may seek to keep us silent; but we have more faith than that and we need to share it. And if we need courage, all we have to do is ask God for it. He will give it to us 🙂

Be The Light 🙂
