The Blind Guides

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgement, mercy and faith: these ought you to have done, and not leave the others undone. You blind guides which strain at a gnat and swallow a camel.”- Daniel 23:23-24

Often, we pray that God opens the eyes of the unbeliever and this is good, but we also need to pray that God opens our own!

Introduce Someone To Jesus Today!

“Less than two percent of believers in this country ever share their faith in Christ with others.”

Dr. Bill Bright, Founder of Campus Crusade For Christ, Born in 1921

Can you imagine? Less than two percent? The consequences of not having faith in Jesus Christ are so severe and they last forever. Don’t we owe it to those who do not believe to at least tell them about Jesus?

And it isn’t just about Heaven, although showing others the way to Heaven is really important! It’s about every single day, because that is how often Jesus helps us ๐Ÿ™‚

He helps us get up in the morning-every day; Jesus answers our prayers; He listens to all of our worries and cheers us on when times are good… Jesus is our Savior & Best Friend!

But if we don’t even know Jesus, He can’t be.

Time is short! Introduce someone to Jesus today ๐Ÿ™‚

Warning: The Winepress!

“Then another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.  And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, โ€œThrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe.โ€

“So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.  And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the horsesโ€™ bridles, for one thousand six hundred [a]furlongs.” – Revelation 14: 17-20

Many think this will happen in the Battle of Armageddon. Regardless as to how it happens, it clearly means the wicked will be punished.

I saw the grapes on the vine: fully ripe.

God’s Warning!

“Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.”

“Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?”

1“Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?” – Ezekiel 9-11

Jesus did not replace the Old Testament with the New, He continued it. There’s a difference.

Warning: We Must Not Become Complacent!

“At that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the men who are complacent, those who say in their hearts, โ€˜The Lord will not do good, nor will he do ill.โ€™”-Zephaniah 1:12

Complacency, we are all guilty of it at some point in our lives. It’s an easy trap to fall into, especially when life is going well.

When we are facing life’s challenges such as an illness, job loss or death in the family, we immediately turn to God and plead with Him to help us. We call upon Jesus and the Holy Spirit for it is easy for us to see our great need of their help!

But it is when things are going well that we tend to “feel” to busy for God. We say less prayers; we go to church less often and we spend less time with our Lord. We become complacent.

And if we are not careful, this complacency can lead to a lack of faith.

We should not wait until we “need” God’s Help! We can and should call upon the Lord and spend time with Him now! Pray now! Obey Him now!

For there will come a time when we need our Lord’s Help desperately!

Share God’s Word Today-Time IS Running Out!

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of theย Lordย is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but theย Lordย shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.-Isaiah 60:1-2

“The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary”- Isaiah 50:4

We are all called upon to share the truth of God’s Word. There are millions of us who follow Jesus, who serve God, all over the world. Never has it been more important that we share God’s Word and the Way to Heaven ๐Ÿ™‚

Time IS running out. Share God’s Word today!

God’s Got Us :)

“We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.:”-Romans 8:28

In dark times, bad things happen. Sometimes bad things happen to good people or even those we love. But it is important to remember two things. One, God will always find a way to work any bad situation to the “good of those who have been called according to his purpose.”

There is something else that is really important to remember. Those who believe in Jesus Christ and put their Trust in Jesus will go to Heaven no matter what! There is no power on this earth or anywhere else that can stop us from going to Heaven to be with Jesus and each other!

“The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.”-Psalm 145:13

God Always Keeps His Promises!

A Warning & A Reward :)

Thank You!

“And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Thenย many false prophets will rise up andย deceive many.ย  ย And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will growย cold.ย  But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” – Matthew 24:10-13

Sounds a lot like today. But it may be a slower process than we think for there is one verse in the Bible that lets us know that the end may not be quite yet:

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” – Matthew 24:14

However, we do not know when the day and hour is that Jesus will return, so we need to Be Ready:

ย But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”-Matthew 24:36

So we need to Prepare, Pray and Be Ready, because it will come!

Heaven & Prayer

While Praying the Rosary, I saw a bit of Heaven ๐Ÿ™‚

There is a white Cross in bright light up on the top of the hill. The entire hill is covered in light. The hill floor itself is covered in the greenest grass I ever saw. A thick carpet of grass. There is no pain there. And there is no fatigue. And as I knelt with Mary to pray, I saw that the hill had people kneeling in prayer to Jesus all over the hill. And I saw others that I know were definitely still alive on earth praying there as well.

Difficult times are coming, ask Jesus how to go there to rest and to pray.

What Future Will We Choose?

ย

Thank You!

I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.”-Isaiah 66:4-5

This does not have to be our future. God gave us a choice. He sent His only Son Jesus to Save us!

This Christmas, as we celebrate His birth, we can also recommit ourselves to Truly Following Christ. Let that be our Birthday Gift to Jesus.
