The Rosary Is A Place :)

Thank You!

Fr. Benedict J. Groeschel once said, “The Rosary is a Place”.

And it is. A very comforting and wonderful place. 🙂

When praying the Rosary I saw the most beautiful garden filled with Amazing flowers. Each more beautiful than the last.

I heard Mary, our Blessed Mother, say “Don’t forget how you got here, Pray the Rosary”!

Will America Become Hong Kong?

And will we have the courage and faith that they have?

From Worthy Devotionals:

My Friends, claim your gifts!

Matthew 7:9-11 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?  If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

“Another great preacher whose writings I love to read is John R. Rice. He wrote, “I once imagined I was in Heaven, walking along with the Angel Gabriel. I said, “Gabe, what is that big building over there?”

“You’ll be disappointed,” he answered. “I don’t think you want to see it.” But I insisted, and he proceeded to show me floor after floor of beautiful gifts, all wrapped and ready to be sent.

“Gabriel, what are all of these?”

He said, I thought rather sadly, “We wrapped all these things, but people never called for them.”

There are gifts and an abundance of blessings to be received from heaven — but we need to claim them as our own! We receive not because we’ve asked not.

My Friends, when we ask the Lord in humility and expectation for His goodness, He will answer! Then we’ll be better equipped to do the great things He has in store for us.”

Your family in the Lord with much agape love,

Faith and courage are gifts. When the times comes, and it will, we need to claim them 🙂

God Is Always Faithful!

Doubt Creeps In, Where Only Faith Belongs.

I wish I could say that I have never had any doubts, but that would not be true.  And that’s okay.  Remember Thomas?  Jesus understands ?

Do we doubt that Jesus is real, no.  For even Satan knows Jesus is real.  I think when doubt creeps in, it is more subtle than that and has more to do with our own insecurities.  We do not really doubt God’s Goodness, but our own.

But God is Faithful, even when we are not.  He loves us, even when we feel unlovable.  He loves us every second of every minute of every day.  We just need to remember that ?

And Thank Him 🙂

Because Faith is not about how we feel on any given day, but rather who we choose to follow every single day ?

Follow Jesus 🙂

Take A Stand For Christ!

“The scribes and pharisies were watching Him closely to see if He would heal on the Sabbath, so that they could find a charge against Him”-Luke 6:7

“When the man with the shriveled hand stood before Him on the Sabbath, Jesus knew the pharisees and teachers of the law were looking to accuse Him. But He did not allow Himself to be controlled by potential accusations”-Jesus Day by Day

How many times do we refrain from sharing our faith in Jesus because we are afraid of what others will say? Or we refrain from giving Jesus credit for our Blessings, because we are afraid of someone’s reaction?

Courage is not the abscense of fear; it’s the facing of fear. We can’t let the reaction of others control us. It’s normal to be afraid, but we need to speak anyway.

The “world” may seek to keep us silent; but we have more faith than that and we need to share it. And if we need courage, all we have to do is ask God for it. He will give it to us 🙂

Be The Light 🙂

Trusting God: When Bad Things Happen To Good People!

When bad things happen, a friend often tells us-Trust God.  I often struggled with that idea when I was young.  How does one trust God when really bad things happen?  Trust God for what?  To “fix it”? Because bad things don’t always get fixed.

But with Trust comes Acceptance.  And that means accepting the bad with the good.  This isn’t Heaven.  Bad things do happen here.  And they happen to us.  That’s just part of life on earth.

IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT GOD DOES NOT LOVE US!  GOD LOVE US ALWAYS!

So here is what we can “Trust”.  God hears our prayers and will use anything bad to the good of those who love Him.  God will never leave us.  Whatever difficulties we walk through, God will walk through every step with us.  When we run out of strength, God will provide it.  And God will Never stop loving us.

When we are in trouble, will God answer our prayers?  Always!  Sometimes He will answer by providing for our needs (whether they are healing, financial or heart driven…), but sometimes God will answer our prayers by giving us the strength, courage and faith to overcome the difficulties we face.  And that is where acceptance comes in.  When we pray for God’s Help, we need to be willing to accept His decisions for us.

And that is what it means to trust God’s Love for us.  It is to know that whatever He decides, whatever He provides, it’s what we need.  Because the God who loves us will always provide us with what we need, but perhaps not necessarily with what we want.

Trust=Acceptance. Trust God ?

Matthew 24: More on the Last Days!

9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,”- Matthew 24:9-10

Aren’t people already being put to death for following Christ in some countries?  Do we not see many turning away from our faith?  And are those who turned away from our faith not angry with those who still follow Christ?

We have seen this yesterday and today.  And we will see more of it tomorrow.

And as we approach the Last Days, the persecution will intensify and spread.

So what can we do?

We can pray for those who are persecuted for their faith in Jesus.  And we can reach out and give them our love-really give them our love. They need to know that we are here for them. And they need to be reminded that Jesus IS coming back! And that He IS taking them to Heaven forever!

And it WILL be worth it!

Preparing for the Last Days: America’s Truth

America’s Truth is the same as God’s Truth. We were created to be the “City on the Hill”. An inspiration for all that is good and right.

Freedom to choose for all is what God gave us and what we should give to each other. And although our country is far from perfect, we have by and large, been the “City on the Hill” that God intended. And because of that millions have sought to come to this country, and millions more have treasured the traditions and values that built it, and the freedom it offers.

Family, faith and freedom provided by God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. What more could we ask for?

The Bible says “to whom much is given, much is expected”. And that is us and that is America! Much has been given to us by God Himself. And as Alex Kendrik’s movie says, “We don’t get to give in and we don’t get to give up”. This is our country, which makes it our responsibility.

There can be no doubt that we live in extraordinarily difficult times. But we can still be the “City on the Hill”. We can still, each one of us, allow the light of the Holy Spirit to shine through us to each person we meet.

And that is how, we as a country, we prepare for the Last Days, or indeed any day. We love God and we love each other 🙂
